Love Yoseka Stationary! I started getting my supplies from here and will continue to! Hopefully one day I'll get to swing by the physical location one day!

The Lamy 2000 is a great pen! I think it's somewhat under-appreciated. It was actually released in 1966 - designed by Gerd Müller, a Bauhaus designer. The body of the pen is made of Makrolon, a type of plastic that was relatively new at the time. :)

I’ve been eyeing up a bottle of the Shin-Kai for a while ,such a gorgeous blue ,it also may take me away from my comfort choice of Blue-Black

shin-kai is a blue/black, but unlike quite a few of the Iroshizuku inks this one is not excessively wet which will benefit you if you have small handwriting; Sailor yonaga is another favourite of mine:)

Such a great gift guide, same with your other one! Love seeing you and Neil together 😊 Also, I’ve tucked my pilot vanishing point in my pen roll since I’ve gotten it and it’s faired extremely well! (Fingers crossed it stays that way) lol 😂 Love you all and hope you and yours are happy and healthy ❤️💕🧿

I’ve found the Vanishing Points do well in a pen roll if the knock goes in first because it is less likely to get accidentally pressed. But even if the pen goes in point first and the nib does come out, the danger is more that the pen roll will get inky than the nib will be damaged.

@@ruthfeiertagno, I understand that the risk here is that ink will get on the pen roll. I keep my VP in the last pen roll pocket all on its own. Pen tip facing upwards. I feel as though the plunger needs a lot of pressure to actually have the nib exposed. So I’ve lucked out so far 😂

@@robertholden4586I agree. I meant to support the idea that it’s fine to put a VP in a roll. Though perhaps Daisy should put Amodex on her list of gift suggestions. 😊

these are great ideas, for those of us with small handwriting the Pilot vp w an EF nib would be best: the JoWo EF nib in the Twsbi definitely puts down a broader line than I like and, tho’ I’ve not tried the Lamy2000, suspect it would write broader than I’d like too but both are great options for someone with regular sized writing!; very interested in your Yamamoto paper: I shouldn’t watch this channel, I invariably am introduced to a product that I wasn’t previously aware of which I now want! - the last time I watched, you introduced me to the Sailor hocoro dip nib which has been used a lot!: thanks:)

You say shameless plug, but it's such a nice green and love that it has a belt style secure thing, it's right up my aesthetic alley

How does Shin Kai compare to Asa Gao?
