      My professor goes way too fast when she teaches. Like I need to go slow at first so I can understand it and then as I understand it more and more, it'll start to click and I'll eventually be able to do it independently.

    my question is why do u randomly decide to multiply the 2nd question by -1. it comes out of nowhere...

      Because the x term, in this case -2x, should not be negative. Therefore we multiply by -1 and this turn the -2x into a +2x. But don't forget to change the sign of all of the terms in the equation. Does that help?

    What if the slope/m is not a fraction for example y=-1x+46 than how would you convert it to standard form.

    What do you do if the x is in the right side in standard form for example: 4-Y=4x

      ignore david! to divide a fraction by anotger fraction, you flip one of the two fractions the opposite way, and then multiple straight across.. Doesnt matter if the bottom is different for multiplication, AND by flipping one of the two fractions, that is simply how dividing the fractions works

    What If the y intercept is a fraction, would you do the same as the slope?
