I think you forgot about another delve trinket: the other candle, Quickwick Candlestick. Gives Str and has a 2 min CD haste on use, which should line with every second wings.
Sacbrood is really nice the rest are just pick whatever you want cause they all equally suck 😂 i personally go for the mastery trinket or the taunt absorb one for extra defensive options
This is a good thing. A situation like Fyrakks trinket is not something i'd like to see again. Casters have this issue with Spymaster, farming one boss for weeks and weeks, hoping they get it. No trinket should be as good as Fyrakks or Spymaster. In spymasters case, they literally double the dps they do.
@@Nissehult23 the rage heart trinket was so OP it was almost like having another defensive. Incredibly powerful on high keys. As a guardian druid I would never be without a defensive.
is heart of roccor (BRD 1st boss, crit + strength) a good stat stick substitute for ovinax egg while waiting for it to drop? or is delving for a knife/candle my best bet
what about healer trinket! Gruesome Syringe??? base crit and procs a heal when ppl get low. gives int as a stat but for some reason its giving STR/AGI (if monk).
So with the egg I noticed the stack bug is that for some reason it cannot go from 1 stack down to 0. Instead, it will always go from 2 to 0. If it only has 1 stack, until that reaches 2 it can never go down to 0. So when you move a bit to get 1 green stack, then stop moving, it will go back up to 30 red stacks but the 1 green stack will stay.
The defensive trinket from BRD 2nd boss is also "okay" if you REALLY want a defensive option and is easier to get on hero track than swarmlords. Is it better than it? No, probably not since it has worse stats, but H PUGs after Rashanan are still huge coinflips even this late in the tier. I'm only still using it because the sacbrood from Arakara simply does not exist and I've been running with 2 people that can even trade it to me.
swarm lord is super easy to farm, even if you dont clear boss itself , just do atleast 4 hc bosses , you can do it with any ilvl if you make a group early in a week and it will show up in vault eventually
@shockshow9823 You only unlock loot from all raid bosses normal/heroic when 1 character on your account has killed them all. Then you can get it on Alts in vault slot even if you're killing first 2 or 4 each week.
@@dominicallen4402 really? didnt know it works like that. I made a tank alt and did 4 bosses on hc first week and got it there , but yea i had main that did all of them
@shockshow9823 yea pretty neat system tbh really helps alts that are just pugging but you have a main that's cleared so loot is opened to your alts from bosses you haven't killed, has made my alts gearing ALOT easier
You dont need to know those. If there are certain thresholds for secondaries at which they become more or less valuable, simcraft will account for that. Just sim your pieces and yorue fine.

When did haste crit become the stat prio, all the guides i see say haste mastery. Also, candle stick is BIS helps you extend avenger. Also, do you play light or Templar, love Templar but all the high keys require it.
@KidMoxie yeah, I switched to Light, leveled some gear i had sitting around and did all my gems.... went from not being able to finish 10 to carrying groups all day long I've been practicing. On some bosses I out heal the healer.
@@pandap. hit a defensive? The spec has 2 cheat deaths and a full on immunity. The only issues should ever come from super long fights where you need to constantly roll defensives like master machinists.
You literally have more defensives to press than any other tank, probably more than 2 other tanks combined. You should always something up from Guardian, Bubble, Wings, Eye of Tyr, Ardent Defender or Spellwarding. Yes, you will die if you tank a hard pack without using your buttons.
@@mattc6056I mean this is literally false warrior has more defensive to use and they are more potent while active as well. Demo spell block double wall reflect the cheat itself. I mean maybe about the same but a pally still gets chunked in ardent or even guardian
@@joeym3147 I think you misunderstand what prot warr defensives actually do. The reason you do so well as prot warr with defensives is because of your active mitigation being ignore pain + shield block. Not to mention one important fact of prot warrior being completely unable to heal themselves, which sounds like a healer problem on paper but if prot paladin is within even a key level of tankiness and is able to heal themselves reliably with wog then they're just stronger defensively. There's also no way you're saying any defensive in the game is stronger than Bubble or Guardian
Simbait egg as a tank choice? Nah. Its just a tiny bit overbudgeted right on the 20/10 spot and even if youre REALLY good at stack management, you wont come anywhere close to it. Even for dps specs with less mandatory movement its barely worth going for it. For tanks its 100% sacbrood and swarmlord.

you're not supposed to be one or two shot as prot paladin anymore except maybe CoT 1st boss if you manage badly your def cd's.
