Great review on the variety of cases. Your video was super helpful with my decision making on which case would work well for my laptop. Many thanks for sharing your collection!
Thanks for the review!. Since I travel with an iPad mini and a Bluetooth keyboard, I bought the tablet crossbody in Heather. It wasn’t as functional as I hoped, so I gave it to a granddaughter. The tablet tamer looks like a possibility.
Sandy I know what you mean. I have a couple of those tablet crossbodies and both are unused. I keep thinking of great things I can use them for but then I have so many other wonderful styles to choose from I’ve not been forced to try it out. I do think they can be great, I just don’t have that particular need these days. Oh well. I was thinking of gifting them to my nieces. The Tablet Tamer on the other hand, is GREAT and it can be used for such a wide variety of things that I can see me hanging onto that one for a very long time. Best of luck finding something that works well for your iPad mini & keyboard - both at home and for travel 😃
That's an excellent idea and a great use for them. I have been "reading" a LOT lately, but it has been mostly on Audible so no books to carry around. I do still read books though too, just not going anywhere lately... The time will come again and I'll be out and about.
New Subscriber here! Thank you so much for this video! I have an 11” Chromebook and have been looking for a bag that can store the laptop, slim mouse, charging cable, notepad, and pen. I am in love with the Laptop organizer. I think it’s exactly what I need. This video helped me see the difference between all of the VB options. Now, do I wait for Black Friday sales or just go ahead and buy the one I want?
Hi Amy and welcome! As for the sales.... Vera Bradley has an Online Outlet Sale and it is currently OPEN. They do have Laptop Organizers there too. The Online Outlet Sale is probably some of the best prices you will find for Vera Bradley and it includes both retail and factory styles and patterns. If you pass on that then I heard that there will be a sale Oct 22-26th that will be 30% off if you buy 3 or more items (less discount if you buy 1 or 2 items but still a sale). Good luck and happy hunting!
@@WarthogPrincess Thank you! I saw laptop sleeves but no organizers. I think I’ll try to hold out for Black Friday. I’m interested in the black performance twill. Although, I’m not familiar with that material. I’ve only ever gotten the classic cotton.
@@andragna Amy you are correct. I just went back and looked again. Either I saw it and it's now gone, or else I thought I saw it and it was just the Sleeves. Sorry about that. I do really like the Performance Twill a lot. It is a more robust material so it would give your laptop/tablet perhaps a bit more protection. It is also water repellant which is great for both water and wipeability. It is also slightly heavier than cotton but for a piece like a Laptop Organizer that would be pretty negligible. It will cost a bit more, but could be worth it if you catch it at a good price on sale.
@@WarthogPrincess No worries! I keep looking at all kinds of options and nothing looks as good for my needs as the organizer! I appreciate all of the information you have provided. I have always loved VB, but I'm just a novice. I only own a couple of pieces. I'm hoping the Black Friday sale is good. I intend to buy it then.
I love the sleeves my favorite print like ultimate is (hello dahlia) love it love it. My only problem is I wish vera bradley offered a wide range of sizes for phones, and lap tops. Sleeves/covers I mean. Due to so many varieties of sizes in electronics. That's my flaw or con. I don't own a lap top anymore but it was hell finding a cover I liked and fit. Than it has to fit in a back pack ugh. Thank you for this video. Once I go back to school I'll be careful and have all this in mind. Gonna need my sanity. Lol .
No problem at all and happy to share any time! I am glad that you found the review helpful and I hope that you find what you want/need for school again when the time comes. I totally understand what you mean about fitting inside and in other bags as well. I do think that the newer ones are fairly generously sized and will fit most laptops. I do agree that it would be wonderful to have more diverse sizes available to fit a broader spectrum of sizes and types of electronics. Stay sane!
I am on the search for a sleeve for when I travel.i usually take my iPad (classic size, not a Pro nor a mini) as well as my daughter’s Fire 7. She is still 6 years old so I don’t trust her to carry the tablet in her carry-on, which is why I take it in mine and am charge of everything while going through security. I am searching for a bag/sleeve that would fit both the Fire and the iPad ( preferably with their protective cases) to keep all electronics bundled together in my carry-on. Would you recommend any of these for that purpose or do you feel they are each for single tablets?
I'm not sure how big the Fire is, but the Tablet Tamer Organizer might work well if you put the ipad in the back (main) section and the fire in the slip in front of that, or just in the open middle. Either way would give some padding between the devices. Depends on how thick your protective cases are though. Alternatively, I'd recommend the Laptop Organizer because both should fit well and easily into the main compartment or you could put your ipad in the main and the fire in the front zippered compartment perhaps. If you prefer a simple sleeve it is still entirely possible that both tablets would fit together in there since they are smaller than a regular laptop. If you are putting both items in the same compartment then I do recommend ensuring that you have something between them (or fully covered protection) so that the screens are well preserved. Does that help?
Do you have the measurements for the Tablet Crossbody? My job just bought us Surface Pro 7s and I’m hoping to find a Vera case for it. I’m afraid the Laptop Organizer is too big and the Tablet Tamer is too little. Hoping this is just right!
Hi Jennifer. Sorry for the delay. The Tablet Crossbody is approximately 9.25"h x 11.5"w x 1.25"d. Hope that helps and more importantly, that it fits your needs. Good luck
Bummer that it isn’t quite big enough for you. I think they might’ve been tough to find anyhow since they are a long-retired style. I hope the Laptop Organizer works well for you. I actually bought my first one to accommodate my iPad too. The 12.9 iPadPro just didn’t fit any of the other tech pieces. Oh well. Now I have a spectrum of old and new and multiple different size and funny that they are quite useful for MANY other things too 😉

No problem Bee. I'm happy to share. Hope it helped answer your questions. Thanks again for the request :-)
I like using the tablet sleeves for books so they don’t get bent up in my bags
