    this is brilliant - thank you so much. I dont use RISE, but is it best to design the course in a specific authoring software or can moodle do it?

      My preference is to design in Moodle as I can do so much more using CSS, JavaScript and plugins. But many people don’t have the web dev skills so RISE is a practical solution that does have some useful features when formatting content.

    Thanks for tutorial
    Even if we open it in a new page the outer frame still existed, do you have any trick to get rid of the additional frame?

      I wish there was. This is the one big reason I avoid SCORM and just build the content inside the LMS. The user experience is so much better and then you get to make more use of the LMS tools. This goes for Canvas or any other LMS. SCORM is a great concept and theoretically should make content a build once and use everywhere but in reality it just makes content feel really clumsy. (Just my thoughts)

      Hi, If you have a look at th-cam.com/video/RuQugje6HNs/w-d-xo.html you will see the dropdown for 'Display course structure in player'. Choose hidden from the list and this will hide the SCORM secondary menu. If you want to hide the Moodle left menu instead just when a SCORM package is loaded, you can add the following CSS to the Theme. #page-mod-scorm-player #page { margin-left: 0px; } #page-mod-scorm-player .drawer {display: none; width: 0px;}

      The only way I could do this from Articulate rise is to duplicate the course in Rise then manually remove the quizzes from the content then export the SCORM package. Not the best solution, but the quizzes in Rise are just part of the normal content. Unlike other LMS products where the quizzes are often separated.

    when do you use exit course link?

      It is a bit odd. The original purpose I think was to save your progress, location in the activity and then close the browser window. But it only seems to save your location or progress and not close the window.

    Hey mate,
    I've followed these steps and upload the scorm file. It then shows the name of the scorm file (like yours) but when you click enter it's just a blank screen. Any idea what I'm missing?

      Are you able to check if there are any browser errors when clicking on the SCORM file. Right click in browser, Inspect, choose console in the inspect tabs, then click on the SCORM file and see if there are any error messages.

      Also check which version of SCORM you are exporting from Articulate. Should be SCORM 1.2
