The fight is some what difficult, we didn't know the mechanics so we had to learn while doing so that caused us some horrible wipes. Having watched this video you now have a solid understanding of the mechanics + the upcoming 20% nerf + 7% nerf this fight should be easily doable.
Basins + burst ports constantly go a long way. also it looks impressive because you only see our success. There have been many raids we've wiped because we've had to many melee classes
if the conscious add dies it wipes the party. The distorted mind shields up and casts a huge attack, you need to break the shield and interupt it to stop it killing the conscious mind. If you have enough dps you can just skip it
Anyone one person is enough. We rotate people in and out of it. Very simple mechanic. The dangerous part is when they add runs at the tank and it doesn't die

Healer buffs, pre buffing, burst pots and hitting the boss again and again until you get a good run goes a long way. edit: Another raid team in our guild was doing 8-9k dps so it's like this raid team is thousands higher

I don't really get what does the fighting Conscious and Distorted adds doing in the background and if they have any purpose in Phase 2.

Does your tank paladin have 50% combo, 15.6% omni?
In combat I have 80% glancing, 14.5% omni. As much as I try I can't manage to get 15.6% lol
