Strangly enough it fits batmans character then all the other bombstic themes from the previous movies. This flim really captured the essence of ((Goth))em and the character of bruce/batman. I hear that some people call paterson a Emo Bruce and think that he is a bad batman. I think his preformance captures the feeling of a young gaded bruce wayne, that is still dealing with his trauma, he is reclusive and for this bruce batmen is his real identity while bruce wayne is a made up costume. This movie also shows that you don't need to have CGI and spectecular action scenes to have a good, deep and engaing story. I didn't like the Identity politics crap that they pushed both gordon and the so called good FEMALE were cast as black people, are showed as virtues and good, while the estblishment is all bad wh1t3 misogenist males. Also Cat women comments on it bluntly in one line of the film. The Joker teased in the movie, would most likely be a darker joker inspired by Ledgers and hoaqins jokers.
