No damage and reduced damage lobbies are annoying for this reason. People ram you and they don't have to pay, or you suffer damage.

I swear it doesn't matter what platform you play F1 games on, this always happens. You can literally make a fair overtake on people and they just ram you out. I don't even understand why people play this game when they just try to race like nascar...
It depends, I'd say 30% of dirty drivers on F1 2018. Sometimes, people are so paranoid that they prefer to cause an accident just before the other by thinking that he would do it anyway. But in fact, if you drive serenely like the author of this vid, you'll see that there is actually true gentlemens on this game ^^
@@ImTcheck Yeah I'm not going to say that I haven't encountered a few people that do act appropriately. But sadly I would not agree with your 30%, maybe as a whole figure, but at least 80% of the drivers that join Ranked or open lobby for me on PC drive like complete tossers.

Ramming is just dumb period. It is always slower and riskier to ram someone than just turn the corner. Yet no matter how far down the field they fall these people never seem to figure that out.

Did you like ever play F1 Online? It is really rare to actually find a lobby with people who want to race. 95% of the lobbies are full of toxic people who directly crash into you / wants to ruin your race after one incidient. If you watch the video you can clearly see that it isn´t only "bumping". Or do you think stopping on the track to wait for someone and then crash into him is "bumping"... They clearly doing it on purpose.
Look, I'm only stating what I know from years of street racing game experience, and a little bit of Forza. I just can't play a constricted racing game that doesn't allow any sort of violent option. It's boring. Also, it was "crashes," not "crash."

Well what is fighting back by force in this game? I would say that continuing to race normally and avoiding their future attempts at crashing into you is the best way to fight the griefers because if you turn around to crash into the parked car that ruined your race it only boosts their ego as you are showing that you are angry at them.

This is my question. What motivate people to do this at all? I've watched folks do this in iRacing also.. I just got so tired of it I stopped doing pvp racing at all. It is just a joke.

Problem is when system falsely accuses you of cheating. It still happens that people who are innocent get penalties.
We need human judges. It would be great if you could report players and then all high ranking players would get to view replay of the race and then give their vote. Not sure if necessary to have admins but considering how often real F1 judges get things wrong, i am not sure they would get it any more right than players themselves.

If you want to buy F1 game, I don't want to stop you. I have F1 2015 and I only play Championship, and it feels really good, I find it really enjoyable at playing against AI.

In my opinion there is a certain problematic attitude with people in this game that just want to ruin other people‘s experiences.
They should learn to behave mature. The ’What goes around comes around‘ attitude will only make it worse. If everyone just acts fair then we will eventually get rid of the dirtyness in online racing.
So my advice is, just because other people maybe sometimes driver overly aggressive or like a dick, don‘t just think you can do that aswell. Behave mature and like a role model on the racetrack and it will eventually pay off!
It also makes twice as much fun winning in a clean racing environment!

You could switch over to a racing sim that has a system in place to prevent people like this ever racing. iRacing for example.

That's been literally every single forza multiplayer match in my experience, and it shows when they started training the bots using multiplayer data and if you connect online to download "avatars" all you get is rammers even in offline
