    I would be able to achieve somewhat around 7.5 CGPA in my Master's next year after completion. I am looking for a PhD in Environmental sciences. Is it possible to get an entry into even the lesser-known lower ranked German universities?

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why don't you look for Netherlands? For PhD, Netherlands will be better in terms of the project and research + Most German universities are GPA centric and you get salary in both countries with no language barrier in NL! Unless you have really good reason then you can choose NL. You are also in IIT? That matters a lot too!!

      @@SambitPhD yeah. Right brother. I am glad you remember our little chat a while ago. Actually I was firstly looking for options in Netherlands but whatever university I tried to check as a choice, either they're asking for a high GPA or requirements that I think are more competitive. And that's the same situation I see in Germany too. So I am not really getting any kind of options to look out for. Currently I have a CGPA of 6.5 in my 1st yr. and I'm sure now that in my thesis work I can improve to 7 or max 7.5 but that won't be enough, I guess. IDK. Kindly suggest.

      No GRE is required for the following programs:

The competition is increasing each year and also RWTH is difficult to get into! So, obviously this is specific to RWTH and most high ranked universities in Germany.
