Sure! whenever e start using any new machine, that machine breaks down its uneven surface and become smooth due to friction. The main purpose of bringing period is to pamper that machine by not giving high stress and doing proper lubrication for certain time.
Its a vast topic to discuss, so i will try to make a video explaining breaking period.
