70's dominant driver: Richard Petty
80's-early 90's dominant driver: Dale Earnhardt
late 90's dominant driver: Jeff Gordon
2000's dominant driver: Jimmie Johnson
2010's dominant driver: Kyle Busch
Sebastian José Ruiz Morales yes
Ehh Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson
@@rt2838 nah, Larson is gonna be the most dominant of 2020's
@@rt2838 uhh no Larson might be for 2020’s but not 2010’s
@@calicopeach4880 aging well so far
Kyle's season reminded me a lot of Dale Earnhardt's 1994 championship season. Dale won three times in the first ten races, but wouldn't win again til Rockingham in the fall. But throughout the summer of that year Dale was incredibly consistent kinda like Kyle was this year.
He was on pace for 30 top 10s (only Jeff Gordon has done it), but boy the second half hurt that shot. Still 27 top 10s is really good.
He had 28 Top 10s last season in 2018

Good Seasons: Kyle Larson 2019
Good Seasons: Martin Truex Jr 2019
Good Seasons: Kevin Harvick 2019
Good Seasons: Chase Elliott 2019
Good Seasons: Denny Hamlin 2019
Kyle Larson Had 1 Win, 8 Top Fives, 17 Top Tens And Finished 6th In The Standings This Year, Ahead Of Guys Like Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski And Kurt Busch, Finally Made It Past The Round Of 12, And Won The All Star Race, That's A Pretty Good Season If You Ask Me
If anything, it's Mediocre Seasons: Kyle Larson 2019
I wouldn't consider Clint Bowyer's 2019 season a bad one Yes I know he went winless But he scored 7 Top 5s, 18 Top 10s and finished 9th in the standings To me that's a decent year for him
Kyle Larson season was good
Kyle Larson had a good season.

Great Season: *Martin Truex Jr.*
Good Season: *Kevin Harvick*
Rough Season: *Chase Elliott*
Bad Season: *Jimmie Johnson*
*And 2019 Champion is JJ Yeley*
What do you mean Elliott had 3 wins what are you expecting, him to get 7?
@@fishproductions22 No he had a decent regular season, it got rough during the playoffs
@@starrynights124 won the roval though??
Why is Hamlin a missing ring and Truex isn’t
@@cruzzsmiplays4053 because Truex already has one and Hamlin is considered currently the best to never win it. Therefore, Hamlin is the missing rings
Kurt and Kyle Busch are my favorite active drivers, so glad one of them won the championship again!
yea baby Kyle gets championship #2. Heres to title wins #3, #4 and #5 in the future.
Winningest driver of the decade;; 200+ wins in Nascar's top 3 series and top 10 all time in career wins already!!!

2019 Johnson Jimmie : Seasons Bad
Even as much as I didn't want to see Kyle Busch win the championship, I will admit that this was well deserved. A much more solid championship season as opposed to his 2015 title.
I honestly think the 2015 Champion was more impressive I mean missing 11 races giving the competition a head start coming back with broken bones and then getting the wins / points to even get into the championship... but people have their own views on that
@@jdmforever5583 I will admit his drive back was impressive, but the major reason why I have really been against his 2015 Championship is that Kyle got into the Chase off of a waiver, and struggled the first number of weeks he came back. We would be talking a different story if Kyle came back and started winning races right off the bat, but he didn't. It's not really his drive I have a problem with; it's the circumstances that everything fell under.
Similarly, this is why people have been opposed to some of the champions crowned under the Chase format and Playoffs. For example, Kurt Busch won the championship in 2004-- a season that saw drivers like Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. score a significant number of wins, top-5s, and top-10s more than that of Busch. In 2007 with Jimmie Johnson, a lot of Jeff Gordon fans have protested that because while JJ had more wins, Jeff had more top-5s, top-10s, fewer DNF's, and scored 353 more points than that of Jimmie Johnson.
It's not necessarily who wins the championship I have a problem with; it's how it happens.
@@jdmforever5583 that asterisk was given to him and undeserved asterisk not impressive at all not a real championship
@Kaleb Lanoue Busch crybaby still cant win hahaha lol probably 😭😭😭😭 as usual 🤣🤣🤣
@Kaleb Lanoue yeah but Busch is just overrated crybaby trash and will never be a 7× like my favorite driver.
The only thing crybaby overrated Busch will ever be is a childish no class crybaby who is very disliked
A Championship season video on Kyle Busch already wow 😳

Same. Hate him, but this is a true championship win.
Same, I hate his guts, but Truex Deserved it more. Kyle was irrelevant since june. Then, truex had about 8 wins. Half is in the playoffs. God. Atleast I get to meet Truex though!
You are right. Although he doesn't deserve the 2015 championship. He earned this championship.

After Kyle won the 2019 Championship it seemed like he and Joe Gibbs Racing would have more success for years to come but once Covid hit, Practice and Qualifying were removed and his crew chief changed, it was never the same. Man how I miss the 2010s 😔
True. But he seems to be hitting his stride with RCR now.
Watching this in 2020 and realizing that the next video about Kyle Busch will be bad seasons right after Championship Seasons really hurts.

He was super impressive this season with that 6 car. He deserves tons of credit.

No one:
Carnation: Kyle Busch the Goat he has 200 (3 Series) wins and 2 champion
Richard Petty: Someone gonna need tell him
Well, 208 spread over 3 different series. Compared to The King with 200 all in the Cup series.
Richard petty was handed a couple races so technically Richard petty didn't win 200
@@BlackDiamondProductions yea, like Charlotte in 1983 when he got penalized for having an engine that was 24 to 27 cubic inches too big and left side tires all around the car.
Don't forget wins at all those fairgrounds against a vastly inferior field.
@@BlackDiamondProductions It has been speculated that maybe some of Petty's wins should've never been, but there really is no fair comparison between what Kyle did and what Petty did. Can I recognize what Kyle has done? Yes. Am I going to compare it to that of Petty? Or Earnhardt, Gordon, and even Jimmie Johnson for that matter? Absolutely not. Times have really changed in NASCAR, and it's easy to make comparisons based on what's written in paper, but we honestly can't say for sure what Kyle would've done back in Petty's day when there were like 50-some races a year, and the scoring format alternated with some confusing formats. Not to mention, the cars weren't even close to equal, they didn't have as good of aerodynamics, and the demographic of drivers was significantly different. When you think of a good driver nowadays, you think of guys like Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr., and Kyle Larson; drivers who are all talented, but not exactly what a NASCAR fan would think of as hall of fame material. Back in Petty's day, you had names like Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, David Pearson, etc. All names of NASCAR Hall of Famers. At the same time, though, there was also only 2 divisions of NASCAR back then: the Modifieds, (a regional touring series) and the Cup Series, which was the only national touring series back then. Petty also had much faster, better cars than most everyone else. The cars that Kyle Busch has to drive are closer in equality than ever before. There's just no fair comparison.
Do Kevin Harvick's Bad season
Calling this one.
Good Seasons: Matt DiBenedetto 2020
Do good season Alex Bowman 2019
DrBigSecs For Bowman that was struggling all year last year and somehow made the playoffs. And 2019 was a breakout year with a win and made the playoffs it’s considered a good season.
Bowman made it to the round of 12 both times and got knocked out both times, so that happening to him after showing winning speed isnt necessarily something I'd consider "good."
At least he ran the whole season, that 2015 asterisk ate at him inside
