I love this version of this song - incredible beautiful. For me, it sound much better then album arrangement. And I agree their harmonies with some instruments are just magic :). Aurora is always great with harmonies.
The guy is Magnus, used to be her drummer and realise most of her song with her, I can't wait to see if he worked with her on the new album as far as he did stop being her drummer on tour. When you'll watch the documentary you'll see how close they are and how important he was for her. Hope you'll do all her vevo 🙂

Personally, I always take her albums as just the step before her live performances. An important step, as she defines the “official framework” (IMO) of each song, before adding, in her live performances, her emotional material which she arranges each time according to her feelings at the moment. But still, just one among the others, in the growth and the maturation of her musical children. "By the gods", this song, sung like that, at slow pace, always melts my brain... Eyes, ears and mouth wide open, nothing else than this scene and its sounds exist. I guess I will now listen to each versions of this gem that I know. I absolutely adore this performance and one of the things I love is how Aurora changes the vibe of the song. The album version is more upbeat whereas this sounds sad and has a longing kind of vibe. Not sure if you have checked out the Heathens Vivo live performance but it's fantastic too!
I love this performance so so much. If I recall right, you were not a big fan of the fast disco sounding studio version on the album, I wasn't much either, I liked it, it just wasn't a favorite. The vevo version is great, but It's next level at live shows. Backup singer is Magnus Skylstad. He used to be her drummer and co-producer, but they don't work together anymore. Aurora loves him dearly, and he is her very best friend.

I used to hear Runaway years and years ago when it came out. Never heard any other song or even anything about Aurora. Very fascinating and interesting lady. Her singing is brilliant as well
