Uff, absolutely wrong live to listen 😭 they had so much problems with this and Damiano wasn't able to hit this song at all. They also did so dirty for Vic and her bass, can't hear her at all. Listen their performance from Live1 "For your love". Absolutely brilliant.
This was the WRONG concert to listen to, there were a lot of technical problems, watch their recent performance at 1Live, it's great!!

YES, also this was recently after Eurovision. They were so tired and they even didn't take a break
Coraline is an amazing song, very meaningful lyrics and a beautiful song overall. However, I don’t feel like it shows Damiano’s skills properly, not in this performance(which people already have pointed out to you, they had a lot of technical difficulties with this performance) nor the studio version on the album. I highly recommend watching the live performance of “La Paura Del Buio” at Radio Italia, “For Your Love” at 1Live or their cover of “Pyro” at Vox Club Modena. 😊
I think the same. Coraline has beautiful lyrics but is not the best song for Damiano's voice, even in the studio version doesn't sound great

Dovrebbero distruggerlo immediatamente perché adesso che hanno tutta questa gente che li guarda, non possono permettersi simili errori! OGNI volta siamo noi fans a fare capire ai nuovi youtuber che può capitare nella vita un'orrore! D'altronde Amy Winehouse era più stonata che intonata nei video per gli ovvi motivi che conosciamo!
Comunque dovrebbe essere il loro produttore ad occuparsi di queste cose! Non capisco!

Yes! And it was such an emotional experience for them to go back to San Remo one year after they won, and went on to win Eurovision and then tour all over Europe and so much USA tv - its already a very personal song to Damiano but that night - oh, my heart it was beautiful!

You need to read the eng subs to understand what he's saying
Vedendo la diretta immediatamente ci si accorge che Damiano non si sentiva e non sentiva gli strumenti (si toccava spesso l'in ear nell'orecchio). Il problema era un settaggio mix sballato (gli strumenti bassi... soprattutto Vic ma, se non ricordo male, anche la batteria rendeva meno del solito) e soprattutto, un monitoraggio della voce pessimo.
Se un cantante non sente la sua voce e soprattutto, la strumentazione... purtroppo può commettere errori di intonazione. Il check sound serve a prevenire certi contrattempi, però può capitare che, per fattori particolari, non dovuti a loro, la performance subisca degli intoppi. L'unica performance che ha avuto problemi non per colpa loro.😔
Seeing the live broadcast you immediately realize that Damiano did not hear and did not hear the instruments (he often touched the in ear in the ear). The problem was a bad mix setting (bass instruments ... especially Vic but, if I remember correctly, even the drums were less than usual) and above all, bad voice monitoring.

The only performance that had problems through no fault of their own.😔
So agree, this performance is flawed, but the song is vocally easy for Damiano. The strength of his singing this song is in the emotions he has and conveys when he sings it. The recent San Remo performance being the pinnacle.
This ballad (a good version) with a full understanding of the lyrics is a masterpiece of music, poetry, and emotion.
As far as I know, Damiano does smoke.

You haven't heard the best version of this song. There were many problems here. There is an official video with translation to understand the depth of the lyrics and that all the other youtubers who have reacted to this beautiful song have used.
please check the Sanremo 2022 edition where they played Coraline and Damiano sang live, of course, with orchestra and rest of band. I really recommend it. You'll be surprised.
