    Rachel is such the perfect person for Kaitlyn to be talking to right now in this moment. This is honestly the perfect guest to have right now. For Kaitlyn to see another successful woman her age doing fine, living in her truth and peace and contentment is so hope-giving and vulnerable and supportive.

    I really enjoyed this podcast, it's a conversation between two mature women, not afraid to light up the society fears, doubt women of our ages can face. I follow Rachel since her time in Bachelor and I just discovered Kaitlyn. I'm 36 successful too, in a relationship but with no kids yet and I totally recognize myself through your stories 🙏🏾 it's good to feel understood.
    Women, I wish and I have no doubt you will find your full path. You are creative, easy going, eager with challenges. God has a good storage for you, and I pray you will have the family you completely deserve 🙏🏾

    Hi KB! I know you’re eager to be a mama so just wanted to say that you can chase that dream without waiting for a partner. At 37 I delivered by baby girl, conceived with a donor, because I too ended a relationship and felt like I was running out of time. I didn’t want to pick the wrong guy out of urgency. Love can come later. Go after what you want and don’t let a guy determine if you get to be a mom! Best decision of my life!

    The concept of “inside treats” has really helped to put some things into perspective for me. I got married this past New Years, and since then have struggling with the idea of posting the photos. It was such a special day for me and something about posting them just so people could hit a like button and move on felt really off to me, but it also felt weird not posting about such a big day..
    Your discussion regarding this has really solidified for me that I really don’t want to post the photos. And I appreciate you giving me that clarity!

    Regarding 15:09, its sooo interesting to realize just how different people can be. I am the exact opposite of these two ladies, I crave a quiet, calm, peaceful life so hearing their perspective of what they want in life and talk about how much they work and how they both genuinely love it and want more is so interesting as someone that literally craves the complete opposite. Neither perspective is right or wrong, they’re just completely different and I love that I’m at a place in life where I don’t feel shame in accepting that anymore. American society puts so much focus and importance on what you do and how productive you are and how much you have both in money and family that it makes people like me who genuinely do not have any kind of “dream career” that they want to work super hard towards or a desire for children and a big family…like some of us just want to make enough money that we can cover our expenses and live life in a cozy house with our partner and cats reading, painting, drawing, cooking, cleaning, watching the seasons go by, gardening. This is what I crave; not a family, not a job, this. And that’s okay just as it’s okay for these incredible women to crave more and more 🫶🏽
    One side note though, I have BPD, MDD and ADHD and used to be a comercial interior designer which was a career that demanded creativity on command, managing and tracking an insane amount of small details and important detailed info on several concurrent projects while having to talk to, email and meet with a LOT of people from coworkers and clients, to consultants and product reps, city planners, architects, engineers…*sigh* I was on track to become a 35 year old director of interiors at a pretty big firm in my city but had been battling with undiagnosed mental illnesses for years and one day I just gave out. I quit and retreated into my house and have spent the last year or so in therapy working towards a diagnosis at first and now understanding it and how it presents with me and learning to cope. So I suppose there’s reasons why I crave a quiet life sans people (aside from my husband 🥰). That said, even if you’re not going through mental health issues it is still okay to crave a quiet life. You don’t have to be this productive machine with a goal to leave some kind of mark in this world ❤

    Also just wanted to say I have been loving the vibe in your podcasts recently, as well as the guests. It's interesting to hear you talk about wanting to help people by talking through what you are experiencing right now. I totally understand that, I often feel that call myself.
    However I really feel like I get way more out of the discussions I hear on podcasts rather than instagram. Instagram has such a weird chaotic vibe. It can be fun sometimes. But I feel like these kind of videos/discussions are the ones that I really get something useful out of.

Or one where Rachel talks to female guests about conversations like this! So still the one with Van Lathan on current political and social topics(love van! lol) and then one like this because it would be completely different than what she’s already doing. We all would love more Rachel in our lives 💜🥰 haha and Kaitlyn you are killing it! Love hearing you talk about everything you’re going through and your insight into things. Really enjoyed listening to Rachel & Kaitlyn conversation. Kaitlyn this period of your life is time to prioritize what’s more important to you personally. I know Rachel has prioritized her career instead of starting a family which she always said she wanted. At 38 years old and as she Rachel said , she didn’t freeze her eggs must be difficult to hear so many Batch friends like Nick & Becca now having babies must be very sad for you both. So, I’m praying for you both and hope God will answer all your prayers. Don’t give up Kaitlyn my fellow Canadian. ❤️🙏

    • @tinytots247
      @tinytots247 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Whoa...focused on her career instead of starting a family...you have zero idea what's going on behind closed doors and your comment makes it sound as though she owes you something. Which, i hate to break it to you, that she owes you diddly squat. This is exactly why she says that she doesn't need to explain everything about her life to anyone. It's clearly working because you're there stewing about why she said she wants a family and isn't, in your very myopic view and opinion, doing anything about it. You have no clue what's going on behind closed doors at all and I'm happy that she's chosen to keep slaying. If she ends up having a family, I'm sure she will be an excellent parent. If she doesn't, she will continue to be an excellent person to those around her.

    • @bernicefletcher5096
      @bernicefletcher5096 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@tinytots247 This is not a negative statement to Rachel. She said on numerous podcast looking back she didn’t prioritize starting a family but has forgiven herself for putting career ahead of husband n starting a family. Go back and check out all Rachel statements on numerous podcast and you will hear her talking about the topic. Hope you’re satisfied.

    • @LA-ty2ug
      @LA-ty2ug ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bernicefletcher5096 agreed. This is obviously something that both her and Kaitlyn have in common and may be one of the reasons why they’ve run into problems in their personal lives and relationships.

    • @tinytots247
      @tinytots247 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@bernicefletcher5096 Well, as you say, if she's forgiven herself, why keep crucifying her and making her feel sorry and sad because all the other Bach ladies are having kids? Why not allow her to navigate her life as she will? If she never has kids, no matter how much she's talked about them, what is it to the rest of us? It really is amazing how entitled people feel in controlling the lives of others.
