When you ask a player to play as a holding defensive midfielder you aren't looking for him to provide goals and assists (can't quite believe I've had to explain that). It's not a pretty job but has seemed well up for it, rolled his sleves up and put a shift in every game (plus adapting to three different partners over a short amount of games).
Brain was just an auto correct which I can easily correct, so no need to cry about it - lol! Get a grip!
@@bentitchener5965 I rate Rice but I don't think he's had a great tournament like most of players haven't. But you can't compare Robson to Rice. 2 completely different players. Oh and don't believe that was auto correct!

When you ask someone to play as a holding defensive midfield they need to put a shift in and also do the unpretty stuff (which I think he has done). He doesn't need goals and assists when you look at what is in front of him.
Believe what you like, Brain being more popular than the name Brian in 2024 is 100% more likely. I'm also Dyslexic and miss certain auto corrects because of the way my brian is wired (yes I know I said Brian) clearly you prefer being a pedant rather than being more knowledgable about football.
