  • Ayup, this is me - a little (albeit very long) snapshot of my story up until now. I am here to get loud, proud and oh so ridiculous about vulnerability, wellness, humanity, identity, mental health, gratitude and above all, living openly and happily in the face of hardship.
Lets laugh and cry and have a damn good time doing it.

I also want to you to know that you are the reason i was challenged in LAX. You pushed me and made me want to be better. And despite everything you were going through you were always SO positive to the naked eye and made me laugh all the time. I love your spirit and your soul and your courage to be the person you are today. xoxo

This is amazing Kate. It's a really powerful medium - and you're good at talking to the people on the other side of the camera, not just the gadget itself - that's a skill! Thank you for this and all the other things you do.

Hi Kate! I have never commented on a youtube video but after watching yours I just had to say something. Thank you! Your video was so open & heartfelt. I have struggled with depression/anxiety my entire life. Over the past handful of years I have learned all sorts of self-care to help me deal with this & blossom in my own life. I lost my younger brother to suicide 5 years ago. Unfortunately he was never able to find it in himself to reach out for help. The fact that you speak out & share your experiences is a step towards breaking the shame and stigma attached to people that struggle with mental health issues. I am so happy to have stumbled across your video. I hope you continue to make more videos & show that 'recovery' is possible. "It's always darkest before the light."

Thank you for this incredible note. I so appreciate your kindness and own transparency. I need to channel your support to make more. Hopefully 2018 will be my year for it.
