@@Viktor007 Cat's don't generally believe in the institution of marriage. That's more of a dog thing (i.e licensing). They don't need a silly legal contract to prove how much they love you. You treat them right (and make sure dinner's on the plate) and they're yours forever.

JAMES PURKS that's very true. They know when you're feeling down. They often very calmly just hang out by your side. Like they're saying "I'm not gonna sit or lay on you in case you need your space right now but I'm not leaving your side bc I know you need company". It's amazing! The unconditional love we get from our 2 cats is impossible to put into words.

This is the video where I first saw Cole and Marmalade six years ago. Been a fan ever since. They don't know it but this pair became a sort of a therapy when life was hard on me. Watching them playing and happy is enough to lighten my burden a few years ago. Now I'm ok and Cole and Marmalade has contributed to that.
But now it is really saddens me that starting tomorrow, I'm gonna wake up to a morning knowing that one of the two cats who helped me weather my storm is gone.
I will honor Cole's memory by naming my next cat after him.

Cats are so smart! I have to share this story. When I was in college, a short-haired strawberry tabby kitten was at my front door apartment after school one day. I love cats so I let him in. I couldn't keep him though. It was winter and he ended up under my electric blanket purring his head off. I escorted him out the door the next morning and went to class. When i got home, he was there again. I said "Oh no! Not you again? I can't keep you!" He bowed his head down and walked away. The next day he wasn't there. I started feeling bad when I looked up and there he was staring at me from the inside of an apartment window next door! I started laughing! It was all about him! LOL
I was dreaming of mowing the lawn with a loud electric mower. Then I woke up my cat was purring his little face was right next to my ear! LOL

When she was young, our cat would come to my face to wake me up in the morning and this saved me many times from oversleeping for work, little sweetheart..
My kitty would gently rub my eyes with her wiskers. They know your schedule.
My cat wakes me because she wants to eat, but it had made me more of a morning person!

The one time my cat did that to me was because I was late - I had overslept that morning. She got worried! She literally shook me awake with her front paws!
My last cat (bless her!) used to walk along my left side, as I often slept on my right side then, and when she got to my shoulder, she would walk over in front of my face and knead the pillow until I stirred. Then, she would leap over my head just bushing my head with her fur to the other side of my pillow, then jump onto the floor as I started to get up.

Yes, I have two female indoor house cats and 3 stray males that I feed on my front yard ( which I built them a wood shelter with heat for the winter)... and I love them all, and they express their love the same way you list in the video... Even the stray ones demonstrate their affection to us when we take care of them... I love Cats.... felines are amazing animals and every one has his own personality!!!!!

@AndDatKat, being positive huh.... but that's good. Personally I love cats but one day I found out a website which said that cats usually live for themselves. Which means they are kinda selfish. I would usually adore cats more than dogs but that website forced me to have a second thought because dogs seem more affectionate, loyal and trustworthy. I love those beautiful furballs but I would love them more if they were more loving. But now I understand that cats are the moody kind of friends. They love you, mean no harm, but they are quirky and really cute. They are loving too. I think it's hard for me to choose between cats and dogs. Cats are cute and squishy while the dogs are adorable and damn loving. Which pet do you like more? Needless to say cats are pretty hard to get kind of pets. They are hard to impress or at least I think so.

I sleep every single night with my cat for the last 18 y with her and she has not have me for a snack, i feed well so I don't to be eaten by her. In matyer of fact she call to go to bed, if stay up a little late, and she meow loudly, untill i say to her "ok! ok !I coming to bed stop it i come" She is the boss at home, I am her human helper, she know that she will have alway what she want

sam kupper One of my cats meows relentlessly when he wants attention, and it almost sounds like he's saying, "Nooooooowww? Hew-wowww (hello)?" It gets annoying sometimes but we usually end up laughing cuz it's as if he's actually talking.
My cat wakes me up by sitting on my chest and sticking his tongue up my left nostril, then boops my nose until I get up. Does that mean he loves me? XD

Hi. So today I was feeling really depressed about going to my bio dad's house and I just felt like I was going to cry. I was in the car just staring out the window and I just couldn't talk because I was so upset. I came home and I walked in. I just sat at the couch and my mom knew I was sad but she didn't want to make it worse so she walked away. I felt like I couldn't do anything and I didn't want to leave. Then the most amazing thing happened. My cat jumped onto the couch and walked over to me. He never really comes to me because I'm like a competitor for him. But he walked to where I was sitting and I almost cried when he sat and rubbed his face on my arm. He never does that even when I call for him or when I pick him up to sit by me. He purred and put his paws on my leg and I pet him. He stepped onto my lap and lied down. I pet him and he purred. He's 13 and he still acts like the kitten that has been with me for 12 years. I love him so much. All of my depression and sadness just melted away. He looked at me and closed his eyes, which means 'I love you' in cat language. No other cat I will ever get will replace him when he passes away. ❤️

Love my cats and I am happy to say, all three do these things to me. They truly make life much, much better. All were adopted from the outdoors, just begging for someone to love them and recognize their unique talents.

It's Scent Marking. I miss all my family's pets: Cleo, 1st dog- female Boxer. Mom's three cats that I never knew what happened to them our family's 2nd dog- a female, white German Shepherd and I loved Dad's dog (which I liked saying was our 3rd dog), he probably died of a heart attack.
