    Our compensator, which also functions as a standoff device, is (in our opinion) the best compensator on the market for the Beretta 92 series. Why? Read on.
    With proven high-level recoil reduction. Better grouping. All that, plus it's not an end-weight.
    Furthermore, it even has a 5 minute installation time! How insane is that?
    And lastly, It's hand-made with manual processes right here in Memphis, Tennessee. Support American small business, and support the second amendment by picking Griffith!

    I assume the 1500 round lifespan and the reinforced top is due to not having a stainless blast baffle the originals did.

    • @griffithguns1776
      @griffithguns1776  ปีที่แล้ว

      I need to reclarify what I mean on my site, my bad. The true lifespan is unknown, my own comp hasn't failed on me yet. I do know aluminum muzzle devices can wear out. I removed the steel bushing to save weight and prevent permanent wear on the barrels muzzle.
      The top of the comp was lowered to give a better view while aiming, especially with low profile sights on certain models. The whole top side is lowered except where the "reinforcement" wraps itself around the muzzle.
      Thank you for reaching out Ben.

      @@griffithguns1776 I appreciate anyone innovating in the firearm space. I'm a bit jaded since I was around when RG reverse engineered the SGS comp and worked though a few issues. Like the guide rod screw walking out. I don't know how much wear the stainless bushing puts on the barrel but it's minimal compared to what the alignment ears do to your frames dust cover. The stainless bushing/blast baffle actually adds quite a bit of compensation to the comp with it's radial arrangement of ports and I assume it helps slow the wear of the aluminum baffles. After a couple thousand rounds I noticed the comp wasn't working as well as it used too and figured out that the radial holes were full of lead. Once cleaned it worked as normal. I assume this comp is like most of them in that it collects lead and requires frequent cleaning. I look forward to seeing where you take this.

    • @griffithguns1776
      @griffithguns1776  ปีที่แล้ว

      I forgot to mention something. With my design the hole for the muzzle is oversized and offset, so it only contacts the top side of the muzzle. Less friction and it's a little easier to align if it rotates off center.

      I understand brother. Someday I'll offer a budget threaded comp. Unfortunately this design just can't be priced lower. It's bigger, more complex, has to be fitted to hand fitted to 5 different points of contact, and each kit comes with a totally proprietary guide rod assembly. All manually machined. Still sells faster than I can build them working alone though. Watch out for a sale or BLEM discounts sir.

      Good question. My comp kit is one of the biggest and most complex on the market for the 92 series. Additionally it's entirely manually machined, fitted, and finished in the USA. Despite all the expensive labor cost I keep my prices just under the price of other American threaded comp setups.
