- Come on a narrated walking tour of the Hoover Dam at the border of Nevada and Arizona. Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam built in the Colorado River. Construction started in 1931 and finished in 1936. It was largest dam in the world when it opened. The Hoover Dam impounds Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States. Hoover Dam provides water and electricity needs to millions of people in Nevada, Arizona, and California. Today, the Hoover is a popular tourist attraction drawing around 7 million people a year. It is located 30 mi (48 km) southeast of Las Vegas and about 45 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip. As of May 27, Lake Mead water level is 1,053 feet (321 m) above sea level. It dropped to a record low of 1,040 feet in July 2022.

Mink-Key perfect filming as always like I'm there !! What I did 12/2022 is take an Uber ($20) from LAS to Budget just North of the Strip. Like $50 for 24 hrs (free parking at Paris Hotel) then saw everything I wanted then DEUCE back.. I Hope u have more videos on Vegas. Have a Nice (FR.) Day....😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Thank you. That is not too bad for 24 hours. This is the last of the Vegas videos. It got too hot for me. Maybe in a few months when it gets cooler again.😂

been to lake mead Manny times with my church one time we had rain before we went out for the day so we went to the hoover dam its crazy to see how far the drop off is from the top of the dam wall
Yeah, it’s crazy how low it has gotten over the years. Last summer was even lower than this.
Did you see anyone riding a bicycle across the dam (in traffic, not sidewalks)?
I see them here and there. Usually early in the morning during the summer months.
