Finger Abduction Patterns should be promptly renamed to "Brain Buster." I've discovered that I am utterly unable to do the "simple" exercises 1 hand at a time and the Variation at 4:30 quite literally caused me mental pain. That being said these are GREAT exercises and I'm confident that repeating these daily will help loads, thanks for sharing!
I love that you've experienced improvement with these drills. I don't see any other gamer hand drills to actually improve coordination and dexterity--all that's available elsewhere are aim trainers for PC or console. Nobody else cares about the person gaming!
Wow .. we are capable of anything if we repeat the practice enough .. within just 15 mins of training I have better dexterity in my pinky finger .. it was out of whack from breaking my knuckle on a wall back in highschool .. the results are mind blowing just like the kagel exercise
@SamaDaGoat thank you! We're actually preparing to start streaming -- first one planned for Wednesday the 26th and hopefully weekly streams and other educational uploads to follow 🤞
I been struggling to find a. Good vid to make to make thbs faster and doing these workout for fingers. This will help out mashing a realky fast for. Friday the 13th thank you. So much.
For the coordination/dexterity, you can do these every day if you'd like--as long as your muscles aren't sore... if you're sore, let your body recover. Glad you found these and the warm-ups useful!
All of your videos in this vein make for a fantastic series, and I thank you for them. One question I have that I can't seem to find a concrete answer to is how does cracking your fingers and knuckles, whether never, rarely, or regularly, which is popping air bubbles within the joints I've heard, affect your hands and fingers short term and long term?
Help I Can't Control my ring finger. If I want to move my ring finger I have to move my middle finger as well. they both seem connect to each other. But I can move my middle finger without moving my ring finger.
I just found this channel and I'm going to see how much I can improve my fighting game input speed and accuracy. If I remember I'll come back later and share the results.
@@brandonbailey3255 Don't worry, I didn't forget. I did this training on and off for almost a whole year by now. In conjunction with other stretches and exercises overall dexterity and endurance has increased drastically. Stick with it when you try it and the results will be HUGE!!!
@@EsportsHealthcare I gave it some time but as I just commented before it was a great success! Thanks for the knowledge and encouragement. My fingers are retarded is what I found from this video. For example 6:00 is too hard for me right now, I can do it only with middle finger and index finger, not with other fingers, at all... I can't manage any of these movements right now completely.
It's difficult to say whether or not any one exercise would be more valuable than any other. My recommendation would be: if you find that some exercises are far more challenging, you should focus on those first. If the movement pattern is relatively easy, your coordination for that movement is better than one that feels difficult or otherwise poorly coordinated.
Esports Healthcare I am use to quarter roll in 2 days and I also getting use to pen twirl in 1 day those are new to me. I will say it not difficult if you know how to go slow and it will come with repetition and it did that how I do it I follow your word to get it down and now I need to do the ring roll which I cannot find one do you recommend made out of paper 😂
Esports Healthcare and also I wanted to add something you know the eye sight for gamer on the warm up video do you get improvements on movement eye speed looking around faster for enemy or just Focus without turning your head? Or both
I don't know if you'll see this or not but I switched to keyboard a month ago. I'm trying to relearn fortnite and other games that require me to be fast, but when I try to press specific keys, some of my fingers (especially my ring finger) move without me trying to actually move them. Does this video help with that or are there other ways I can make my fingers more independent?
My suggestion would be to "listen to your body." If you're experiencing symptoms of fatigue (burning sensation, aching, discomfort), or if you experience muscle/joint soreness from the movements, then you're doing too much. If you never experience any negative symptom, I don't have a good reason why you couldn't do them every day.
I don't have any scientific evidence (but we can look into it); however, I believe--like any type of physical activity (e.g., sport-specific activities, playing music/instruments, etc.)--you'd be able to practice and improve your abilities. If nothing else, practicing drills like the ones in this video will help to make your hands more coordinated/dexterous to the point where the movements feel easier and more comfortable to perform.
@@EsportsHealthcare I always played my best when I focused on being as peaceful and relaxed as possible, but I guess that’s common sense. But the sweats and try-Hards in cod discouraged me haha.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so frustrated with my body. I’m a 22 year old young man and my left hand almost won’t allow me to do these seemingly easy movements. It’s also pretty hard with my dominant right hand. I can already tell these will help thank you sir.
Some of these movements are (surprisingly) extremely difficult, e.g., the same hand finger cross or finger circles with the ring and pinky fingers. I had to practice a few of these a ton just to get 5-10 seconds of video clip to show what I'm trying to teach 😅
First off: congrats on being at the top of the list when I searched for how to improve dexterity! Second, I came here cuz I’ve noticed that my right hand is very good at coordination and dexterity, while my left severely lacks. This almost makes my left hand (and even arm!) feel weak and stiff in comparison. And hey, I realized that most of the drills (especially the ones at the beginning) would not only train dexterity, but that they double as cool little tricks to do, or even as idle fidgets!
Can i do these? I have a bad fine motor skills with hands. I always felt weak when using hands, it's like i don't have the control using it. Thanks in advance!
These exercises don't require added resistance; you only need to move your hands, so I would assume--as long as you don't have any underlying health conditions--the exercises would not be harmful to you. However, if you try any of the exercises and they cause pain or discomfort, then stop immediately and speak to your doctor. If you have no other health concerns, I would not expect these to cause any problems.
@@EsportsHealthcare thank you so much for the reply. right now i just did the coin flip and the other finger movements and i feel great that i can follow it. Ill try this everyday. Thank you for sharing this video!

anyone also have problems with the last two fingers all the time? they are literally trolling me. :D the rest is rly good after i did some practice this week. :D
Generally speaking, your ring and pinky fingers will be less dexterous in comparison to your index and middle fingers. Many things we do throughout the day don't specifically require the use of your ring or pinky finger (e.g., writing--if anyone still does that, turning a key, gripping a key or other small objects in a pinch grip, etc.). But, like so many things in our lives, you can improve with good, consistent practice!
I would recommend after a gaming session before resting so 1) you're loose and 2) you're not affecting your game play, OR or after a warm-up, which you can follow ours. Either way, I'd make sure not to do it before a gaming session as to not affect your performance. Also, once or twice per week would normally be sufficient.
@@EsportsHealthcare Actually, doing these exercises before my gaming sessions improve my performance significantly. They make my hand move faster and make tracking really easy. At least as a mouse and keyboard player :)
