I think the Vikings really did great on their defense this year, cine and booth jr are just fearless hitters, just bullets when they see a play happen they just are so fast to get there and throw their body at it
New fan to the podcast, loving these top 5 videos. I have one suggestion though (if you’re not doing it, already): when you discuss each player in the top 5, put somewhere on the screen that specific persons highlights, so when Chris is breaking down each person, the highlights are there to view. Just a suggestion….
You can't look at Elam at Nickle and Jones at Nickle and say Jones is better, even if he is the top nickle because Elam is good enough he's gonna be a starter outside.
Honestly I'm hoping the Ravens can get a top Edge rusher in the first. Then get Davis in the second. I think Humphreys and Peters would be the perfect mentors for him.
Booth Jr will be a really good 2nd outside CB. I think him and Chicago are a fit in the 2nd Rd. He can be kluky. What about Earl Thomas as a Safety comparison? He's risen on some boards, fallen on other so we will see.
Bears are going zone and Marcus Jones was my mock pick in 5th.. but not sure when he’s going because of his size.. he’s perfect for the Bears who also could use another kick returner.
Stingley has the ability to be the best player in this draft, I think he is getting criticized more than all the other cbs The stuff being said about Stingley are similar to wut we’re said about Parsons last year and boy was everyone very wrong
The difference tho is that Stingley only had amazing production in his freshman year. He also played that many games the next couple years because of injuries and him opting out, I hope the kid can ball out in the league lord knows my Steelers would love him but yea
completely different. parsons had some character concerns but he was the best LB in the country last time we saw him play. stingley played great as a freshman and he hasnt been as good. to not have ANY concerns is crazy
@@lakersxcommanders7046 Off talent he shouldn't. We don't know what them medicals look like. We seen top guys fall before because of em. He was hurt all 3 years.
@@lakersxcommanders7046 idk about that, only available tape is his freshman year, opted out a year and injured the next. Teams would be drafting him strictly off talent and not his production on the field which can be a problem.
Stingley is good and I think he’s gonna be a top 20 pick but we gotta stop evaluating this college players only because of they’re freshman tape cause I seem this movie too many times
CB, WR. Fluid hips. CBs in press want length where a cover corner you need smart strong guys. Man is a rare breed. Real outside CB. Not a slot. Some great slots in this draft, maybe 4 outside guys.
I like Simms’ analysis, but I don’t think he appreciates that size matters for drafting DBs. Simms had Ar’Darius Washington of TCU - an undersized safety - as the 4th best safety prospect and better than Moehrig and Washington went undrafted because he’s small while Moehrig was picked mid-Second round. (Washington did make a NFL roster as a UFA before getting injured.). These undersized guys are just not drafted in the way Simms predicts. Unless a team really needs a return specialist, no way does Marcus Jones go in the second round.
I completely disagree. He gives reason for his rankings and gives detailed explanations. Just because it isn’t the general consensus doesn’t mean it’s crazy. Simms hits on a lot of players but no one gives him credit when he does. There are a lot of consensus players who don’t pan out so going against the consensus isn’t exactly crazy
@@veganhippie8498 he’s doing the “I’m not like other analyst” rankings. Like Armor Davis, really? He was CB2 on his own team. Did the same with wide outs. He’ll hit on 1 player that was ranked low every year. The guy had Patrick surtain as Cb3 last year and didn’t have horn, newsome or Asante Samuel (the consensus top 4 guys)in his top 5 at all. He’s a quack
@@lakersxcommanders7046 being a certain position on the depth chart doesn’t make you better or worse than a player when projecting to the NFL. Metcalf was WR3 on Ole Miss in 2018. Smith & Waddle was WR3 and WR4 at bama in 2018. I could go to the consensus in every draft & find players who don’t pan out. It’s his opinion & he details his analysis. Everyone called him crazy when he had AJ Terrell over Okudah, the consensus #1 CB. I understand you saying you don’t agree with him, but saying he only does it to be different is insane

Best corners are the ones that don’t waste steps. Agility and quickness
Was looking everywhere for a Marcus Jones breakdown and finally find one 🙏🏾 great job Chris
Ravens got your 3rd rank OL, 3rd rank CB, 4th rank TE, 3rd rank DT, and 1st rank Safety...plus 6 other picks. EDC a boss!
You can't look at Elam at Nickle and Jones at Nickle and say Jones is better, even if he is the top nickle because Elam is good enough he's gonna be a starter outside.
I would be prone to chalk up Stingley's performance to the LSU situation. If he slid to the late 1st round he would be be a steal imo
I love Chris but man... listening to this with earbuds in and hearing him smack his lip almost every sentence is a bit much
I could talk football with simms for hours/days straight. I like that his opinion is his own opinion
Yal lying on that “rate the Washington dbs”
Sidney Jones was considered an elite prospect in the class before his Achilles injury.

Me bro
Hopefully they could coby Bryant in 2-3
Your wish has been granted!First impression reminded me of prime Jimmy Smith but I didn’t go too deep into his tape.
Simms combines jock and nerd perfectly . . Sprinkle in a little Eli humor. . Makes for a riveting watch 😝
I hope my Ravens can get their hands on Stingley
I want Booth
The UCLA game with Kyle Phillips beating him up really made me question how bad that he wants to play
Kyler Gordon! Bears gotta great one! 🔥🔥🔥
