...okay fine. I'm awake now.
So I decided to take as many Metal Sonic representing songs as I could, and mash them up to see what I could get. That list includes "Look Alike" from Sonic the Hedgehog OVA, "Stardust Speedway - Bad Future (JAP) from CD, it's remixed counterpart as "Vs. Metal Sonic" from Generations, his boss theme from Sonic 4 ep. 2, and Mad Gear from Ep. 1, and Metal. Why Mad Gear? Because it was specifically made to rebuild Metal Sonic and hone his skills to get him back on par with Sonic's abilities. That, and it's fuckin' awesome.
Why no "Never Let Go?" Because I forgot. And I originally didn't believe that I could throw that in without it clashing with other chords. Dat screechy ass trumpet synth...
Anyways, hope you all enjoy. I think I've about had it with 2012. Hurry up and end this year, already.

This is an awesome remix/mashup (it's even featured on TVtropes' Sonic Awesome Music page) and an epic theme for Metal Sonic. I think you forgot "What I'm Made Of" (his villain song from Sonic Heroes) but you otherwise got it perfect. Mind if I do a bass cover of this song sometime?
+tbarbdrills The song is doing pretty good currently, mix too many songs and it could become a mess(especially mixing two songs with lyrics, which rarely works unless you edit the songs to make the timing fit, or time the two songs PERFECTLY together). Maybe if someone were to use this as a Metal Sonic theme, there could be two versions?
One using "Look Alike"(normal boss theme/cutscene song, maybe the song that plays during a Metal Sonic story cutscene segment?) and one using What I'm Made Of(Super Metal form/Metal Overlord(or Madness, and these forms would be treated as Super Forms, as is most likely obvious even with my piss poor jumbled explanation here) form, or "Final Encounter").
Honestly, What I'm Made Of would hardly fit in the mix.

This has the perfect amount of Metal Sonic in it. If What I'm Made Of and Never Let It Go were included, it would have been a bit overboard.

Dude :O Mashups can be so hard to make work and you mashed up not two, but FOUR songs into one and still made it sound great?! DAMN.
And added custom percussion. But the trick is audio mastering (which I'm terrible at, just lucky with this one), cause without that it'd just be noise, as you could imagine...

Five songs sounds like a serious challenge, but somehow you managed to mix them all together without a single one sounding out of place. Spectacular job. I think I found my new favorite theme for Metal Sonic.
