I have a large collection of Cd's of traditional Hawaiian steel guitar , I really enjoy your playing Sabastian. I have also designed and built many lap style guitars and resonator guitars . Thanks
This tricone is basically the same one I purchased nearly two years ago. I have a set of Beard cones and a National T-bridge in it. It sounds fine!!! I have a doubleshot tailpiece waiting to be put onto one of my guitars. I think it's going to be the Appalachian dobro, but I haven't decided yet. I have so many projects going on that it's very difficult to budget my time. Mahalo!
Nice ! It's definitely good to have a steel guitar that is not as crazy expensive and rare like the vintage Nationals, so you can take them on the road without worries.

How’s the republic compare to the National?
Hi Evan, in lack of a better terms, the National sounds sweeter and warmer, the Republic is a bit more percussive and louder. Hope this helps !
