When my children were babies I made them laugh at the thunder, and when they were toddlers we would talk about how it sounded like a piano falling down the stairs, or a truck rumbling by. They were never afraid of thunderstorms.
you know it’s crazy? I completely understand the first person telling the story. I absolutely despise the rain and they hate the feeling of getting wet, for some reason it causes me stress and anxiety and I’m not sure why 🥲🥲 i thought i was alone lol
I just wanted to give everyone a shout out on here and tell u all something my old man (RIP) told me years ago that when you're afraid or in dreadful fear about someone or something....give it right back and twice as bad/hell to anyone or anything tryna do it to you!!!take care and be vigil everyone, peace out!!!
Story 1: Smart for calling the police Story 2: Red Flags and should have never got in that creep's truck Story 3: That was weird. Why would anyone stand in the middle of a thunderstorm Story 4: Scary Story 5: Smart for calling the police
THere you are Felecia. Why are you always saying don't get in the creeps truck. Don't be discouraging people especially ladies from getting in the vehicle with a creep. That what I'm relying on. Ladies when you see a fat guy with a creepy grin asking if you want a ride. Don't worry it me THE GREAT CREEPY LARRY. HOP ON IN. Best Regards
Amazing how some of us actually love thunderstorms. And no cell phones used to be the norm, not something to be scared about. It's more scary how some people's lives depend on their phones.
Right, but that should have been plenty to convict the creep. What normal person would do those things to someone and have innocent intentions. Frustrating
The attempted rape story, i dont know what state you are from, but if he has done it before, several times. They should have locked him up and threw away the key. He's obviously not going to change. So why subject a future woman to his violence. I know in today's society they seem to think women are nothing. But then they better not charge anyone with murdering him next. Because they had the opportunity to keep everyone safe.
As someone who has no car, but has been checking bikes and accessories out cuz I also have a 80 minute round trip to the biggest store in my area- geah, I agree. Unless your car is broken or you got no gas money and need to save gas, you should just use the car
The fifth story kinda hits home, my old man is always worried about stuff, and he's brought up the old what if a tree comes down on the house thing a few times during bad storms. It almost came true once with a pretty sturdy oak tree next to the driveway abruptly falling over during a mild snowstorm one year. Thankfully it went down away from the house and the cars, if it fell in the opposite direction that would've been the end of five cars I think at that time. From what I understand the ground had gotten too saturated and the tree's root bulb just gave out. Back to story five, so the immediate inclination upon finding this secret room with some weird old shit in it is to report it to the police? I'm sorry, what? Maybe it's the fact that I know how to do research, but I'd do a little investigating on my own. Fuck getting the authorities involved unless my line of inquiry leads to something truly disturbing being uncovered that warrants their involvement.
Plus, story #2 if you are going to the grocery store, just take the car. So you dont have to worry about carrying stuff home in good weather or bad. Cut out the need for a ride. I celebrate you not using your car as much. That is good. But never put yourself in a position to NEED a ride. Or find a bus stop. Or wait at the store until you can find a bus.
1st story: That would've been Jesus that told the person to stay in the car on that rainy night because if they had got out of the car and into the rain they would've rush inside in the mist of the burglars, it wasn't luck. Thank God they stayed in the car.

this comment made me laugh due to the piano falling down the stairs part
Story 2 never ever accept a ride from a strangers. I’d rather walk in the rain thank you
Yeah. You can get raped, murdered or kidnapped.
you know it’s crazy? I completely understand the first person telling the story. I absolutely despise the rain and they hate the feeling of getting wet, for some reason it causes me stress and anxiety and I’m not sure why 🥲🥲 i thought i was alone lol
The last story - it's good to see the cops took this seriously. The thought of it is terrifying.
Great stories. I really wish we had cold thunderstorms here in SoCal from this awful heat 🥵

Who walks 40 mins to the grocery store when they have a car?
I have a car and I walk 100s of miles at a time. No law against it, yet👍😁
Person in story 1 really is lucky
I ate two lobster rolls
Prove it. 😂
Awesome 👍🏻
In this economy?
What does this have to do with thunderstorm stories?
Mmm
DOWN w/Mr Night Scare!
Almost getting assaulted by a creep, glad the person got away.
Right, but that should have been plenty to convict the creep. What normal person would do those things to someone and have innocent intentions. Frustrating
legal systems when dawg with SEVERAL convictions of r5pe actually does it again after letting him go because his last attempt was unsuccessful:😨😨😨😨
Who does a 30-40 min walk to the store? Especially, since that person said they had a car?
Was thinking the same thing until I remembered gas prices these days lol
they said they enjoy walking
It’s a good exercise to do a 30-40 min walk
Me...

We are soon gna get some thunderstorms since it's nearing the summer n gna b fall soon. ⛈️🌩️🍂🍁
There was no way to charge your phones so you were cut off from the outside world? So you’re saying ALL of your phones had died? Hahaha
Has a car but walks 40min to a store, sorry but exercise or not it is stupid to walk 80 min round trip to a food store.
As someone who has no car, but has been checking bikes and accessories out cuz I also have a 80 minute round trip to the biggest store in my area- geah, I agree. Unless your car is broken or you got no gas money and need to save gas, you should just use the car
Walking 80 minutes is great, but not with groceries. Unless you only went to get a box of tissues
