It looks like the disappointing palette box takes standard half pans, so at least you can get some use from it by switching out the bad ones for others. Still, for the price it's a regret.

Maybe I am using them wrong or I am incredibly unlucky but I have tried a few different white gel pens and the ink either never flows or it flows for a bit before stopping or so thin it has streak/scratch lines in it from the nib

I had this issue with the Hybrid Gel Grip in white, the gelly roll keep going but its less opaque. Sometimes it helps if you keep writing on a scrape piece of paper until it flows again.

@@filsartjourney I tried gelly roll and while it flowed I had issues with the colour under it coming through like instead of staying white it would take on a slight tint from the colour under it. I did have this one gel pen that worked really well but I gunked the nib up testing it out on different things just to see what would and wouldn't work and I have regretted my curiosity every day lol

@@Lesbiwolf92 The gelly roll is indeed semi opaque and bit more watery! With watercolor I don’t mind the other color showing through. What white pen are you using now?

I have heard that you must not put any pressure on the pen while using it, since it's a bit thicker ink and the ball will get stuck. I already had given up by then and use white 0.7 posca instead

It works well if you write across a damp paper towel to start the ink and if it clogs.

Ah the palettes are so satisfying to just look at 😩 I was going to comment that it's nice you didn't get many regret items until I noticed that in the title you did write favorites and A regret 😂

That Blockx palette is really disappointing…. I meanly focused on things I loved in this video, there are art supplies that don't fit me but that palette is horrible😂
