    Titleist driver SureFit neck sleeve explained in this video focusing in on what each of the settings offer in terms of loft, lie & face angle adjustment. The driver sleeve features on TSi1 TSi2 TSi3 & TSi4 drivers and fairway woods plus hybrids. These changes can adjust ball flight which I personally test in this video with very interesting results. Golf driver custom fit on TrackMan.

    The Titleist Hosel, for me, is the best adjustment hosel on the market. love it. However, I changed from Titleist to Cobra Radspeed XB 10.5 stiff Motore F3, changed the settings to 10.5D, as a result upped the Lie, because I am a tall guy and game my irons +3degrees up. Ball went little to drawish for me, so I changed the loft down, kept the lie and set it to 9.5D to open the clubface a tiny bit. Absolutely perfect straight fairway bomber. love the Radspeed Xb superb feeling, sound and foregivness!

    great video Michael. i was custom fit last September for my TSR3, 10° standard loft, B1 setting 0.75 degrees flat. also was custom fit for TSR3 3 wood, same hosel setting but minus 1/2 inches in length. i wound up ordering same for TSR3 5 wood.
    loved them so much after playing with them i ordered a TSR3 4H. for me TSR3 are the best feeling/sounding woods i’ve ever played.

      That’s why you get fitted for the driver. They can then adjust the hosel adapter to be in line with the shaft graphics and then your grip will be in line the way you want. You shouldn’t be changing those sleeves around a bunch anyways. Those changes are incremental and don’t fix a bad swing. If you have a big old slice or a big old hook there’s no amount of adjusting in an adapter that is going to fix that.

    This video was very fun and informative! I plat Tour Edge C721 9.5 set at U- which is 8.5 and 61 degrees and getting more draw than desired. If I heard you correctly then I can set to lower lie which for this club would be 59.5 degrees. Is that correct?

    • @MichaelM-to4sg
      @MichaelM-to4sg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not as simple as that. A lot depends upon consistent swing path and squaring club. If those factors are however constant, you’ll typically find more upright lie to bring toe forward thus effectively closing face, resulting draw bias.
      TourEdge commonly are very upright clubs in driver, oddly since their fairway metal are traditional to flat for example a ‘typical’, if there is such a thing, driver lie is 57*, 3-wood 57.5*. I thought the C722 I read was 59* for driver 🤷‍♂️. I play the C722 15* 3-wood which has a base lie of 57*, 2* flatter than their driver. I play mine @ 0+ setting of 15.75/57.5 w/43” length. My ST220G driver is set 57.25 lie w/45” length

    Very interesting video. The surefit is fantastic, but I've always wondered why that bottom cog doesn't rotate too. It seems to be flat against the ferrule, so it could rotate. This would allow you to keep the shaft graphics in the same place.
    Do you Callaway have a patent for the dual cog system, preventing Titleist from doing the same?

    Just started gaming a TSR3 9.0. My miss bad miss is a hook and my contact miss is toward at the toe. The toe miss leaned me toward the TRS3 over the TRS2 just due to the option to move the weight closer to my contact miss. settled on the T1 Setting B1 hostel setting. This has minimized my left miss and I believe moving the weight to the toe has help put the MOI where I need it for my contact miss. If there is anything else I'd like to optimize it would be peak height, Its just a touch low. I think a higher launching shaft would give just that little more optimized launch without moving the hosel setting. Going to try a GD Tour AD Di over the HZRDUS Red CB (with was the best of the stock shafts I tried). Aways loved the feel of GD shafts. Love your channel! if you could sell your golf swing you'd be a rich man!

    Really love the design of the SureFit hosel. Unlike that of my ST220G where I am forced to change loft to obtain my preferred 57* driver lie, the SureFit allows lie to be adjusted independent of loft.
    Not too much of issue on my driver, I play the 10.125/57.25* setting that works great for me and I really like the 2 movable weights design of ST220G.
    When I was testing 3-woods, I really liked the TSi3, I tested the 15* set .75 upright, for 57.25. I could try both 15 & 15.75. I ended up buying the C722 set @15.75/57.5, primarily because my club builder could buy head only to fit the Speeder NX 60X, a shaft that was not in custom matrix for Titleist nor TourEdge. The SureFit however was clearly the best engineered adjustable hosel I have seen.

    I do think manufacturers don’t make it clear enough that the reason the club sits shut when you use the increased loft setting is because it just shuts the face forcing you to regrip the club square and increase the loft in doing so. If the club is flat on the ground at address after the ‘loft change’ there is actually no increase in loft at all, just a shut face.
