Roland Hi-Fi Jet FJ-52 Eco Solvent Printer - 54" Wide Format - Excellent Condition
Includes: Roland FJ-52 Printer with all parts in Excellent Condition. Recently refurbished inside and out with new DX2 printheads, new dampers, new capping station, new pump and new sheet cutting blade. Converted to eco solvent bulk ink with 6 new refillable cartridges. Save lots of $$$ on ink.
This is a great outdoor sign making printer for beginners looking for low costs but not steep learning curves. This printer keeps producing signs without the expensive costs like the new printers have. My first wide format printer was a Roland and I picked Roland because everywhere you look people say Roland is the best quality. I wouldn't go with any other company but Roland that's why I keep buying Roland printers because of how many printer parts are still available. Most other companies discontinue their parts and can't be repaired after a few years.
To describe the difference in operating costs of a Roland FJ-52 vs. Roland's new printers just look at the price to replace new print heads. This printer includes two new DX2 print heads you can buy for around $500 each new compared to the new printers have six or eight DX5 print heads that cost around $1000 each. Most used printers have bad print heads and people are selling the printers cheap because they won't work unless you spend $$$ to buy new print heads and replacing all the ink components like the dampers, capping station and pump. That's why I can't see getting in that situation because it's just too much $$$.
***It is very important to have extra parts for your printer incase something goes wrong and you need to replace a part!!! You won't have to worry because many Roland suppliers like digiprint-supplies or sign-in-china still stock parts for the Roland FJ-52. In fact Roland models: FJ-50, FJ-52, CJ-500 and SC-500 all use the same parts.
Also, I'm not a business that's out to screw you. I will help you in anyway I can to get you started and to help you along the way if you run into any trouble. This thing has lots of settings so be patient and I will explain how to get the correct colors and the highest quality image for each media type (High Gloss Vinyl, Matte Vinyl, High Gloss Banner, Matte Banner, Photo Paper, Window Perf, Magnetics, Canvas, Etc...). I uploaded some pictures so you can see how high of quality graphics it can print and cut. This printer can make thousands of stickers as small as a stamp in one batch or you can print extra wide banners up to 40 feet long in one run. You will receive everything you need to start your business off right including Roland ColorChoice 4.5 software and all Roland user guides and service manuals.
My background in Signs & Digital Graphics will also provide you lots of experience that will help save you time and money by learning how to make everything a wide format printer can make, by learning how to keep your costs as minimal as possible and by learning how to achieve the same quality at a fraction of the cost.
