also if you're not touching the processor, pretty much everything else can be done without ESD... it's not aircraft electronics, just basic servers... haven't work ESD for a server in last 15 years, never had any issues... (wear them if placing processor, that's all, even then not necessary in last 10 years.. tech has changed). most parts haven't been electro static for over 10 years... I'm an AM-Avionics... in know ESD, servers are not.
The video was done on a non-functional unit to explain the breakdown of the server. While ESD can be critical with this unit it was not required.
