- This video demonstrates how you can maximize the tinySA scanning speed for capturing fast changing input signals in a wide scan. Apart from the SPUR removal setting, everything else applies to both tinySA Ultra and tinySA Basic.

Hi Erik, Australian viewer here, I got my Ultra a month ago (from the official supplier) and I just want to thank you for developing this awesome tool. I love this device, its pretty powerful. I also really like the signal generator, and the fact you can adjust amplitude, modulation and bandwidth is super handy. Thanks so much for the work you put into this.
Got mine in the mail today. Great device.
Thanks Erik. I use your device, it has great possibilities👍
These are very useful, thank you so much for this content
Great info Erik. Greetings from Trinidad, I use my TinySA quite a bit in my lab, 73.
Great help...Thank You
Excellent! 73
Hi Erik, does the info also work with the TinySA with frequency range of it? This video is labeled for the TinySA but it's about the Ultra.
Apart from the setting on spur removal, everything else is also applicable to the tinySA Basic
Hello, Erik, I recently discovered a TinySA Ultra product, and I was surprised by the performance that looked better than I thought. I often check the UHF TV frequency band that exists in the field area to avoid signal interference, so can TinySA find the UHF TV frequency well?
Yes, even the tinySA Basic can do this, see: th-cam.com/video/Vn2da_UBuBE/w-d-xo.html
Hi Erik,
how does scan speed corespond to display refresh ratio? If it scans in 50ms it means I get 20Hz display refresh. Will every single scan correctly displayed? Some kind of display persistence would be helpful.
Every single scan will trigger a display update. Use Max hold or waterfall for persistance
Hello Erik, I have been exploring the serial commands. I executed scan 2400 2402 1 2 it returns:8.062500e+00 0.000000000 How do I decode the 8.062500e+00? Is this the dBm level? I couldn't find anything on the Wiki or in the group. Thank you for your time.
