I have made same connections with mq5 sensor and power light on mq5 sensor glow but the buzzer does not buzz or LED glows when I smoke the sensor.
You can change module potentiometer value using screw driver
one doubt.... smoke senor works on 3.3 or 5V? Here you r using 9V battery without resistor? How come it didn't fry?

Hey ganesh, keep your supply constant and then adjust potentiometer position as said by Technical Scientist RM further adjust potentiometer in such a way that buzzer will stop making sound.

I made the same as u did. But the buzzer sounds and led glow even there is no smoke. Once i connect the positive wires it sounds and glows without smoke. Even i adjusted the potentiometer values. But not worked. Pls give me a solution

Because Sensor Working on 3.3v to 5Volt power. You can use 9 Volt Battery No Problem you can attach load like Resistance or 5v LED for balanced circuit.

This thing is not stable at all. Sometime it works. One day it works on 5v. On the other day, it doesn't.
So I stick with 9v.

I tried this one and connect every part correctely and it worked BUT!!!!!! the buzzer is making the sound even without the exiting of smoke, do you know why?
First Of All Do Check Sensor Working or Not Next is Potentiometer Value Change Back Side of Sensor
@@TechnicalScientistRM the red and yellow light on the sensor works, and when I tried to adjust the potentiometer and rotated it to the opposite direction the only the red light turn on but the buzzer doesn't work even when I put a fire smoke to test it
Only Red LED On Then Check Potentiometer at this position then check working or not
