Cut the last 4 inches of the original that is what is holding the fender cover out at the bottom. Then it will be flush with the bags from top to bottom. Look correct that way. I just cut the sides of my fender (relief cuts) bent the last 4 inches toward the tire and left it so if i wanted to go back to factory I just weld the sides back.

I looking at buying the same fender overlay. Noticed yours is pretty wide over the top. Is there a different overlay available if I wanna use quick detach for backrest or tour pack? Or should I just notch it out when I fit it up before painting?

I believe there are a few other designs. But I’ve seen where people just trim holes in this one for the quick detach brackets.
