Great job on the Nautilus X and Hatch Reel review Shannon!
Just curious. With the Nautilus reels does their chart specs for line capacity for backing over estimated or under?
I think the X Series Max is for a nine weight. Did I miss something when you said for tarpon and sails. I thought tarpon and sails used 12-14 wt rods. What am I missing?
The CCFX2 and the GTX have reel sizes that accommodate those species. We stock the X in the shop. My apologies for any confusion.
Great video. I have the Hatch 5+. It’s a really nice reel. But honestly, it’s heavy.
