I remember playing this as a kid and struggled so long to get past 2-2, then I come watch this speed run and see its aptly named TOUGH LEVEL. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who was incessantly beat down by this stage lol. Unfortunately, 2-6 was the farthest I ever made it through the game. Your run is vindication for those of use who were never able to beat it \m/

I think the graphics and art design for this game are amazing, especially for 87. Some of the enemies even look 3d with the way they move. Also the title screen music is so heroic!

*Darbian - have you ever played the game, Cybernoid on NES?* It only takes like 10 min to beat, but it’s hard and cheap as hell. As far as I can find, I’m the ONLY person on TH-cam to have beaten it on an original NES. I never knew of the game, but David from Nerd Bacon challenged me on that after Battletoads, GnG, Silver Surfer, etc But anyway, if you could handle this and everything else you’ve done, I think you would end up with quite the entertaining run for that bizarre and tough game!

Not sure if I still have it or if it got tossed out. I tried searching for it's value online... Apparently a mint condition Air Fortress doesn't go for much these days. I will never hold world records in Mario or donkey Kong games or even aladin or even Harry Potter I just speedrun those games for fun but I do already have some world records for dadish 1 and 2 which is kind of like Mario on mobile device I also hold world records in alot of wrestling games like WWF attitude WrestleMania 19 and smackdown vs Raw also some atv ones no one else has done street fighter and soul caliber 2 records which some of the soul caliber records are very hard need to be exstreemly consistent and need alot of luck I also got a former world record in NBA court side which you need very lucky RNG yah I'm rambling on anyway I basically have records in alot of records in either less popular games or game records that barely or no one else at all has speedrunned
