Will nightmare turn back if dream has fallen and shattered? The universe must be balanced, and dream has already turned back to his original powers, which means he now is the king of negativity. Then now Night must turn into the opposite, right?(i mean thats how other aus work, they must be perfectly balanced, right?)
Sort of.
Firstly, Shattered isn’t the King of negativity. Since Dream was originally weakened by negativity (before he became Shattered), Shattered still sort of follows that. But as the same time, he can feel negativity now since his soul got corrupted. So he can feel both now without getting weakened. The only exception is if he feels EXTREME extreme positivty OR negativity. If that’s the case, than he will get SLIGHTLY weakened. So his point of balance is in the middle of both negativity and positivity. Hence, why his goal is to spread toxic positivity, which is kind of a blend of positivity and negativity.
As for Nightmare, I don’t wanna spoil too much since he’ll have his episode as well, but he doesn’t completely turn back to Passive. At the same time though, he doesn’t remain the same Corrupted Nightmare we once knew. You’ll find out more in future episodes :)
So with both Shattered and Nightmare being a sort of blend of emotions and feelings, the balance is kept within the multiverse.
So to answer your main question, Nightmare doesn’t completely turn back to Passive. (Also what happened to him was Passive’s fault, not Corrupted’s, because Corrupted felt no sorrow towards seeing Dream become Shattered)

Turns out, the multiverse is falling apart.
Dream, became a ghost, to his body, who was been controlled by Shattered.
Passive and Nightmare fused, after Passive cried too much after the death of his brother.
They have changed due to fighting.
And now, things will get out of hand.
Will Nightmare be fine on the current conditions?
What Shattered would do to his own team mate/friend?
Who will be introduced to the fallenverse.

And cringe. The way I type changes, it kinda goes cocky and not understandable as hell- or just imagine Shattered inserting himself in this comment. (This specifically happens for dreamtale - surrounding around dream videos..)
The beginning was definitely a beginning. I can see that you really had planned the story / episode really well! And I mean, in other words, starting up to what happened in the past is a nice introduction.
Then, it goes to the dream- or a nightmare. Hehe no pun intended.
Over there, you portrayed dream's emotions REALLY well. His confusion, guilt, and to what Nim could have said? Or what dream thought nim thought of. I'd like to point out about the random glitches. I love that detail. Not just that, there's also Ink. And since, you know, Dream was already too much with nim, and then had to put Ink! Which made dream cry.
He is practically running away from his negative feelings (??) Anyway- just like the first part, we'd also get another one Dream's guilt, the biggest one. If not, I'm very sure dream just expect the Past Nightmare to just stand and not speak. But because P. nm spoke, dream broke lol. And, the details again! Dusting away and crown falling - with sound effect too!
I sometimes wake up from random nightmares, and that heavy breathing was realistic as hell. I am glad there was like a "calming" point in the vid (aka actual dream and actual Ink talking) ink's suspicious is kind funny, I like how you portrayed him!
It was CALM before the STORM. Once oncee~again, I love how you portrayed nightmare!! The fight scenes and that. I'm very sorry, I dont know how to talk about fighting scenes that well. But trust me, it's amazing!

The climax or whatever makes the viewer interested as hell was in the middle of the video. I like that, pretty much fitting.
I'm pretty sure I've read a question somewhere, "what would happen if both dream and nightmare touched the apple?" And I was curious of that too. So, this one huh? Realistic. Well, in this video of course. Not to say it's canon.
Back to whatever. Past nm nooo!!! Ah, I feel bad, but that's what the universe went for. What the creator.. thought of. (In a positive way ofc, I love your work!) Or not, mm, who knows?
Past nm crying, is truly heart breaking. The argument, or whatever, and the mini breakdown. Anger and you know. Ironically.. it's so- negative. Haha. You also got that one good.
You managed to give the difference of Nightmare, and Past Nightmare. Nightmare does not care.
Also, it's very very funny indeed - of the fact that nightmare said ONE thing, and then you know... it happened. HAHAHA
Admist to that, something is happening in Dream's body. To be frank, it IS nightmare's fault for this. Or no, it's dream's. Dream went to that location in the first place.
Past Nightmare's panic, because he *knew* what was gonna happen.
So, I'm not sure, I think Nightmare didn't expect shattered to come, but curiosity did. Based off the video, he definitely looks interested.
To what I'm guessing - I think shattered , formed from Dream's negativity??? I mean there's also the apple and that, but shattered knew Nightmare. Or it's probably because shattered is in dream's body, knowing every single thing that dream also knows.
Past Nightmare is still Nightmare, he is just separated. P. NM's crying was so much Nightmare started to tear up too. And shattered was fascinated of that. Seeing NIGHTMARE crying was funny though. (Not past!! Its so silly~haha.)
I'm sure at that moment, while nm was confused, past nm was having some shattered (Sorry. Can't help it.) glass moment. Then with the random or negative energy, they mixed.
Dream¿ trying to reach to Nightmare¿ but realizing he can't.. oh, poor him! So so sad. Why must this happen? Also I love ur shattered btw.
Now to other things.
I like the music chosen. I mean, the beginning- with the undertale starting(?) music. And then the glitches and stuff.
1.9k screenshots. Almost 2k. I wouldn't be able to do that.
And my, 8 episode series? Perhaps this feels like watching Underverse or Glitchtale long before..

As you mentioned, I always believed something similar to that of the video would happen if both Nightmare and Dream touched an apple at the same time. But in this case, since the apple was Dream’s soul, the energy outburst was actually what killed him. As you said, Dream’s negativity was certainly a factor, and it took a toll on him, preventing him from exerting his full power during battle, and in the end it’s what caused his death. In conclusion, Dream’s soul got corrupted by mostly Nightmare’s negativity, but with some impact of his own negativity as well. This killed Dream but created the parasite that is now Shattered. And yes, Shattered knows Nightmare because he is part if Dream and has all of his past memories.
Sorry if this was confusing but I just kind of tried to comment on what you said 😅

I have two questions:
1. How come Dream didn't eat the negative apple but he still turned into Shattered Dream?
2. When Nightmare touches the golden apple, Dream will die, but why is Dream still alive for a few more seconds?
Good questions! Let me explain:
1. Although Dream didn’t eat the black apple, an explosion occurred as seen in the video. Nightmare and Dream touching Dream’s soul at the same time generated unstable power, so an explosion and outburst of energy released in a wave across the multiverse, destroying the soul in the process. The outburst was of both negativity and positivity, but since Dream was weak at the time, it was more negative energy than positive energy. THAT outburst is what killed Dream. After that point Dream was dead and is still dead.
But… this outburst of energy still impacted Dream’s body. It’s what created Shattered, who like Nightmare, is really just a thing. They’re both just parasites. So in other words, the auras is what’s keeping Shattered alive and it’s what’s keeping Dream’s body moving.
2. When Nightmare touched Dream’s soul, it’s not just a INSTANT IMMEDIATE DEATH (in this au at least). But when he touched it, Dream was dying, though since he touched the apple as well, his aura tried to counteract the negativity. Since both of them touched the apple at THE SAME TIME, that caused the explosion with inevitably destroyed Dream’s soul. So in the end, he died regardless.
Hope this clears things up and keeps in kind! I try to keep things canon things in mind but some things might still vary and include headcanons!

now im wondering, if blue and ink had saved dream, would dream have died anyway due to negativity since his legs were melted off?
Maybe he wouldn’t have died if he received help, since with some treatment and positivity Dream could have at least regained some strength, but he would have remained without legs and he definitely would’ve lost some power overall.
But also take into account that only Ink could’ve saved him, because in this point in time, Swap and Dream don’t know each other. Swap is not part of the Star Sanses in the time of this episode, it was only Ink and Dream.
Swap comes in later… 👀👀
when when passive was trying to wake dream up was dream dead or just knocked out?
Once Passive appeared and tried to wake up Dream, Dream was already dead
