You know how catchy and awesome his songs are, imagine..... many many Australians screeching like cats to sing his songs ,🤣 that is reality in Australia, we all think we can sing Jimmy like Jimmy does.🤪😉
Thanks for reacting to my request, I hope you enjoyed seeing Jimmy in full flight. Second one might be limited outside of Oz. Let me see what I can do to get it to you ;)
My favorite one of his too. I remember it being used for an advert promoting Australia on New Zealand TV. I thought it fitted well, very Aussie sounding. Thanks for the reaction mate!
Mate your face when the music starts - pure joy 😁😁 I remember dancing around our neighbours lounge room as a kid to this song 😊 such a good one BUT most of Jimmy's are amazing!!!
This was a smash off his last rock album before he made the switch to Soul Jimmy that you were introduced to him as. The anticipation and concern was all too real for those of us that knew him from Chisel to working class man to this beauty, to think he was now going to bring us something like River Deep Mountain High. Of course as we all know now, there was absolutely nothing to fear 😆
Bahahaha this is retro for you mate. I got to grow up with all this music😂 So glad you are giving some amazing OZ artists a run. Yes indeed Barnsey had a stellar career with Chisel and as a solo artist. He sang the title song for the Michael Keeton movie Working Class Man.
Lurv lurv lurv this song and Jimmy just reaches that top shelf without even trying. NO ONE tops Jimmy when he’s firing on all cylinders. Blows your mind. I prefer the 29/20 version actually. A little more current but damn he rocks it out of the ballpark.
This spearheaded Jimmy’s biggest attempt at the US market.. I think he co-wrote this with Diane Warren🤷♂️ certainly a few on the album she contributed to.
One of my favourite Jimmy Barnes songs.
Mine too!
Barnzeee! Legend! Watch out he’s got new hips.
"TOO MUCH AIN'T ENOUGH LOVE". Jimmy Barnes first number one hit in Australia 1987
Brilliant 😊
Neal Schon from Journey played lead guitar on that song and co-wrote the song with Jimmy and two other Journey members.
@@TheChristOfRockNRoll yeah I know, he made that guitar sing throughout
I never get tired of watching you man crushing on barnsey, so good.
Right there with you 🥳
@@its_Today_ the stone cold reaction with joe somebody is still the best..
Very underrated album, Two Fires.
Just about his best album I think!
You know how catchy and awesome his songs are, imagine..... many many Australians screeching like cats to sing his songs ,🤣 that is reality in Australia, we all think we can sing Jimmy like Jimmy does.🤪😉
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 it's true! 😂😂😂🇦🇺🇦🇺🦜🌟💥😎❤
Aussie here, can confirm lmao 😂
love the immediate smile, Jimmy always delivers
This song is AWESOME LIVE there is nothing like being at concert when Jimmy's sings this. 🔥 📛 👨🚒
Makes you feel like laying down your guns and surrender! LOL
🗣 Old School Jimmy Barnes 🔥🧨🤘
Love all that you're doing. Cheers, from an Aussie living in California.
Thanks for reacting to my request, I hope you enjoyed seeing Jimmy in full flight.
Second one might be limited outside of Oz. Let me see what I can do to get it to you ;)
Beautiful brilliant Barnsey 👍😎🙂👊
This is one of my fave Barnesy songs. 1990 if I remember correctly.
My favorite one of his too. I remember it being used for an advert promoting Australia on New Zealand TV. I thought it fitted well, very Aussie sounding. Thanks for the reaction mate!

You've gotta do a reaction to "Hammerhead" or "Motors too fast" James Reyne.
Amazing vocalist!
You will love it.
Opened with this song when he toured the album ..... still blown away from that concert.
he did a newer version of this song with the band the living end,its really good
Seems to be not available out of ANZ. It's coming ;)
@@MonstaAU cool
Second favourite song of his ever!!!!
Two Fires Tour was hot AF. Still remember Newcastle Showground concert.
The absolute best tour 🔥
Thanks for the reaction mate, it's one of my favourites too
Your great, organic smile says it all. When are you moving to OzVegas?
One of my favorite solo Jimmy Barnes songs. Such a powerhouse, Jimmy and the backups, the guitar and what about those drums???!!!
Jimmy, what a force of nature
One of my faves. Barnsey being Barnsey love it 😍
This was the first 45 “ single I ever bought , a lot of memories listening to this song. Rock on Jimmy !
Jimmy`s the man !
Jimmy Barnes =brilliance
Awesome memory of first time hearing this song, it blew me away…takes me right back every time. 🥰
One of my favourite Jimmy songs😁
Yes yes yes one of my fave era of Jimmy!! ❤
Great song!
Thanks for doing this one Nick. It's the one song in his catalog that I'd noticed you had yet to cover thought you'd really appreciate it.
It's a really good song. Listen to 'Too Much Ain't Enough Love' next - my favorite of his.
YES!
This was a smash off his last rock album before he made the switch to Soul Jimmy that you were introduced to him as.

Your face lights up when he's belting 🙂
Ages since I heard this - so good!
This is hands down one of the best songs to play live 🤘🏽
Hope you are well Nick!
I remember this song blasting out of the radio during my Uni years 😊 Must be tons of fun to play!
Bahahaha this is retro for you mate. I got to grow up with all this music😂

Yes indeed Barnsey had a stellar career with Chisel and as a solo artist. He sang the title song for the Michael Keeton movie Working Class Man.
Glad you found this one xxx
Solo Barnsey here! Around 1989-1990-ish.
Love your reactions…same as we had all those years ago❤
This song was HUGE!!
didn't known the title but as soon as it started i knew it, on the radio forever
Woo!
Love this whole album. Not a bad song on it.
Jimmy Barnes was the lead singer for Cold Chisel
Oh no, I got excited thinking it would be the Living End version. It's the best.
I'm watching an old tv show. Farnsy & Barnsy just tipped a bucket of water & a bucket of shredded paper over Red Symons
Justice prevailed
Powerful stuff!
Love the version with the Living End
It's his best song IMO
Love the drums on this kinda similar to Cranberries Zombie with how prominent they are.
Lurv lurv lurv this song and Jimmy just reaches that top shelf without even trying. NO ONE tops Jimmy when he’s firing on all cylinders. Blows your mind. I prefer the 29/20 version actually. A little more current but damn he rocks it out of the ballpark.
Jimmy barnes is the biggest aussie icon. Wow. Go check him out
My partner when we first met, thought JIMMY was just a screamer🤷🏻♀️like a lot of out of tune people did, years on.
She LOVES him😁
NOT RETRO when it came out (1990). GREAT Oz Rock kick arse song, then and now.
Cheers from Oz.
I played the bejeez out of this for so long....
The version with The Living End is ridiculously awesome.
Australia was blessed in the 90s with so many great bands then they let the pokies take over
Michael Jackson vibes is a good call
👍
This was the 'Two Fires' era, where he cut his hair and went more pop.
So baby come on
Lay down yr guns and surrender....
“Lay down your guns, I surrender”.
This original is great, but I think I like the version he recorded later with The Living End better
No not Chisel , they had disbanded by this time .
It's a fun song. It's fresh, it's out there. What happened to music?
Just for yourself, not a reaction. You should check out Jimmy Barnes Working class Boy.
I suppose tina turner is his female opposite...if some believe he screams then so does Tina.
MJ? You know him better than me but I'm thinking a much more rock, than pop, performer. Not Van Halen but Bon Jovi-ish perhaps.
This spearheaded Jimmy’s biggest attempt at the US market.. I think he co-wrote this with Diane Warren🤷♂️ certainly a few on the album she contributed to.
