Something I’ve found to work with some of the longer molds, if you get some of the Rubbermaid containers the you can vacuum seal for marinating meats, they work like a pressure pot but just not as high pressure.
@Braxleighs Place Sorry this is late, I hope you see it. I sure fire way to help with mica powder is to put it in your cup first with a little bit of alcohol, just enough to mix it and dissolve it. Then add it to resin.
What's worked for me is to mix the color into part A before you add part B. I have the same machine and it brings bubbles to the top but you still have to be slow and stir in only one direction to keep bubbles down too.
Thanks for checking out this "anti-bubble machine." It appears that this unit has an under-powered vacuum system. And I admire your tidy resin work area.
You could also try doing another cycle in the bubble remover if they aren't clear on the 1st attempt. I have 1 from another brand and sometimes I have to run it a couple of times to get them all cleared. x
@@braxleighsplace how long do you need to pour ? Most resins I use have 40 to 50 minute working time so 10 mins degassing isn't eating into working time too much
I have this same bubble remover. Did you have any trouble with it the next time you used it? Mine worked fine the first time next time the red light went on but kept going off.
When the red light goes off when you are using it just press the button to turn it off or the air release button then turn it on again that should work, if not just make sure the lid is straight.
I find that using silicone cups in the machine doesn't work as well as plastic cups. For whatever reason, the silicone cups seem to hold the bubbles in more than plastic cups. Also, just a little advice...I cut a silicone mat to fit in the bottom of the machine incase of any spills
Thanks so much! That is so interesting. I wouldn't have thought that the type of cup would make a difference. Great advice on the mat too; I'm always spilling and not noticing til it's too late ☺️
There were some still stuck to the bottom that were hard to see in the video. But I ended up using Plastic Cups in another video and it worked really well at getting the Bubbles out!

That's a good idea!

Thanks! I would never have thought of that!

I've never thought about mixing the color into one part before mixing the resin. I appreciate you sharing the info!
@braxleighsplace You're welcome!

Thanks, I try to keep it clean! Yeah, it really didn't work as well as I hoped.

Thanks, that could work. Do you run into it cutting down your working time too much, though?

Another awesome video.
You're too sweet 😋 😊

How weird. No, I haven't had trouble with it. It sounds like you got a defective one. I'd try returning it.

Yup, cause the silicone is a porous surface the bubbles grip and silicone makes bubbles themselves. That's why plastic cups work well.
Ot git rid of the bubbles in the resin they were out of the liquid and sitting on top
