I bought a G840s a while back didnt like how it turned out, the 900 version you have looks WAY better. I do still prefer the FitcamX for the discreteness of looking stock.
would like to know why? It's a mirror first so why is the rear camera not at least the same as the front camera?! The front camera is the Starvis 2 not the rear!
Fair point, I mentioned the same, but I can see most companies are always pushing for the front camera being the best. I don see a market where its the same camera front and rear, and a few more companies are beginning to do that. I might be working with another to test out a camera that runs the same quality front to rear on my Sienna.
how do you like the plug and play mini amp that you got from beatsonic? I saw your comment on their video, do you like the product? did it make a difference?
Very cool product from the looks of it! I'll be curious to see how you like it. I've used those hard wire kits before and they are very easy to use. Normally there is also a small fuse box under the dash that I've always tapped into making access very easy. I haven't looked for one on my GRC yet so I'm not sure where it is. Does it come with the bracket that fits the GRC to mount it like you did? I don't see the Corolla listed as a choice. You mentioned that the hard wire kit is included with the unit but it lists it as a $20 option so I'm confused if it needs to be purchased or not. I do like this a lot though! Good job!
So there is no actual mirror in it? Only video? Thats not good and pretty dangerous. I've driven GM cars that have the option to switch to the rear view camera as the rear view mirror, but its always disorienting because you look into the rear view mirror and move your head around expecting to see the images move around, but they don't because it is a video display.
Great review, thanks for taking the time to put this together. I do want a mirror/dashcam combo in the near future!
Thanks for watching! I think its a clean setup.

@CarQuicks Wolfbox seems to at least use the best. Also interesting that both cameras are capable of 60 fps and Wolfbox only gives you 30 fps.

I'm actually making a video on that install and impressions. It will be up soon!

The under dash one is what I used
Nice, how much was it?
They have a BF Deal going on right now that I linked int he description. Thats what I got this for prior to the deal beginning.

No you are wrong, but in the video I mentioned that. If you turn off the display, its operates like a standard mirror.
@@CarQuickscool my only problem u TH-camrs when get stuff free at times u guys don’t forget about it cost is free for u
lol, I just installed the exact same dashcam in my GRC yesterday
Hah! Great minds think alike. I love it.
The mirror mount that attaches to the windshield looks very different than the one I got. What’s the part number on yours?
