It is nice to see the game get regular updates that are this big. Enemies do feel a bit harder to deal with than before: they jump way more and I don't think they could slide before but I saw they did in the beta version. Overall they are way more on the players giving them way less time to breathe. Melee weapons and abilities to replace grenades were an unexpected surprise, very happy with where the game is going.
Blackhole grenade is my favorite. On a level that you can fall off of you can throw the grenade off the edge and it will pull the enemies off. It's great! I also like to use it on the destructive fire rocks, it pulls the enemies in and builds up fire stacks quick!
The giant crystal on top of the island gives you crystals and explodes into a bunch of tiny crystals for even more money! One time I was playing and it was a giant red crystal up there and I got 7 power ups at the same time
Love your crab champ videos. Random shot is actually pretty good. Low investment perk for elemental and has some different effects compared to the standard types. Also the island with the giant crystal at the top of the land pillar can have a random chest drop at the top. Grappling hook is an easy way to get up there. You can also try it out with the hammer melee. Agreed that grappling hook is sort of limited. Especially compared to black hole which just builds with the grenade perks so easily.
Hey Leth, I've been struggling with my runs in this game even when I've got decent gear. Any tips for improvement? I notice you spend a lot of time in the water. Any reason for that?
i think staying in water is just in case he gets hit so that it'll wash any effect off of him immediately, and i only think that because of what he mentioned about the poison early on in the video

I believe he does it to keep more space between him and the enemies (let's him maneuver without as many/any obstacles)
