Laptop : Acer Predator Helios Neo 16
• CPU : Intel Core I9 13900HX
• Ram : 16GB DDR5 5600MHz
• GPU : Nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 140W TDP
• SSD : NVME 1TB
• OS : Windows 11 Pro 64 bit
i plan to buy acer predator helios neo 16 i9 14th gen 4060 variant, or legion 5i i7 14650hx 4060 140w, which one should i buy? i dont know predator how much tdp they have, someone say 115w, and someone say 140w, im confused who the right one.
@@stazyuu for me predator do better, because predator have 2 thunderbolt ports. For tdp predator has 140w, but for rtx 40 series below 4080, max tdp that used by gpu is only near 110w
Just making sure, but mux switch right?
@@waferbarr yup it have mux switch
any info on the 1% lows?
1% is nearby 200 fps
how do you get this many fps, i have the 14gen i9 version and im barely breaking 300 also temp hitting 100c + constantly
also urs only using 90w while mine hovers around 110w-120w
@@2ziii not any special setting, just turbo mode
Make sure the airflow is good, use laptop stand or anything that can make space under laptop
@@Andrico1004 thx for response, i have the laptop raised up on the back like inclined, with the back sitting on the charger block, when i put on turbo mode my avg temp is 101c with peak at 105c with uncapped fps on valorant. i might seek customer service with acer fk, maybe unlucky liquid metal application on cpu.
@@2ziiido you have the legion 7i? Cos I do and I had the same problem. Was only getting 300-400 fps at 1600p. I installed msi afterburner for stats and found that my cpu doesnt go above 4.5ghz and mostly stays around 4.1 ish ghz. And temps were above 90. I undervolted the cpu and started getting 500-600 fps.
I will not be using this under ac so if i go with i9 varient will it overheat and i7 will generate less heat?
@@CompanySectary i dont think so, because it have same tdp, i think it will generate almost similar with i9. Just disable turbo boost if you want to lower the temps
@@Andrico1004 there is no core and threads difference right?
I can get i7 for 1lalh10k
And i9 for 1lakh50k
Only minor difference in performance so I think I should go with i7 the performance is similar
@@CompanySectary no, there is a difference on i7 only have 8+8 core 24 thread and i9 have 8+16 core 32 thread
@@Andrico1004 but 40k difference? It's too much
@@CompanySectary if you only do gaming on this laptop just go for i7 then. But if u do rendering or heavy multitask go for i9
Hey bro can you please do a Call of duty test on this laptop,
Im planning on buying so please it would be highly appreciated
I only can do the warzone one
@@Andrico1004 i will highly appreciate it if you can
im currently uploading cod benchmark
Hey how much fps do you get in competitive?
@@sarahcat2 arround 400+ fps, lowest fps 300
Wow 500fps
How many fps will the i5 4060 variant have?
maybe around 300fps i guess
I get even 600-700 fps with 4070
hi, currentlly i get a new rtx 4070 acer predator helios 16 too, but i just get around 200-300 fps in valorant, can u help me share ur setting? like nvidia or something
@@catyappxd NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL!
@@miikalahtinen1637 can u share ur setinng please? or u have discord? may u share ur setting to me?
Bro valorant is not gpu intesive its cpu. So even u upgrade your gpu your fps wont go up cause it mainly on cpu
