Dude Tara is legendary! Its nice when they dont say like "oh yeah thats me" and he respects their privacy.
And I love it when, like with Ed Sheeran, he says “Hey you look kinda like [x]” or asking for their name instead of addressing them by their name to give them some sense of normalcy
What I notice is when they see his drawings it's like everyone is for the very first time seeing themselves! Their true self like " wow that's meeee 😮😢😍" he captures and captions that what the person itself don't see.... That's captivating everyone is like holding their breath to observe their god given energy
When we see ourselves, we see our imperfections and insecurities. I love those reactions too! It’s beautiful to see what other people see

I think the reason people appreciate a drawing more than a photo is because:
1. Lots of time, effort, years of practice got your skills to this point.
2. They see a different perspective about themselves that is beautiful! The artist puts their take on the person that’s genuine of the moments captured in the drawing. 😊❤
I can't think of any other person that brings more joy to the world than Devon!

How long does it actually take you to do the sketches of people because when you’re on a train it makes it look like you drew them right on the spot! So how long does it actually take you? Usually somebody sits for a portrait it’s gonna take quite a long time! So, if you can do it that fast, boy, you have a real talent
