that busa did a sick job of cornering that sharp with such a heavy bike, i cant imagine how much faster he woulda been on a 600, or 750, or even a 1000 for that matter, they are heavy! NICE RIDER! :)
@Romandiesel Agreed. It's definitely Taiwan, Taipei County. The road goes up to "Five Finger Mountain....I've lived here for 10 years....and I ride a Hyabusa as well. The bike in this vid definitely did not sound like a Hyabusa at the speeds & RPM's in the vid. The original video was from "alleywatson" (or something like that) a few years ago.
Man, that 'Busa pilot has some mad skills. On those twisty roads, that's some seriously talented riding. On less twisty tarmac, the Porker would have been a distant memory.
@Ryn7kid Correct, the road was closed between two points as best as possible, so that no car traffic / trucks would also be "going up the pass" The traffic you saw entered from side roads, mostly on the lower section. Still, it's not a good idea to be on the wrong side of the road on blind corners.
These Busas handle better than most people think, but it takes quite a bit of skill to keep the power in check. Its easy to push the front end AND/OR spin the back due to the torque. Weight becomes more of an issue at these speeds. This guy did a good job. My buddy pushes his Busa like this, last month he low sided while running with the group through similar turns. He is still healing, bike is toast. We all know the risk of riding hard. If your gonna ride stupid, you'd better be tough....Hahaha
What a good video. A Hayabusa doing that on those roads is impressive, it's normally great for top peed and drags, but not twisty roads like a 100 CC for example.
To all the people who think the porsche driver sucks what are you smoking! He's blasting around this busy road using both lanes even on blind turns, and he didn't kill anyone!! That alone takes a lot of skill and balls to do.
!SUPERB! Both the driver and the rider are very good pilots. Of course the Suzuki stays behind the 911 for a while just to get it on camera. Them both are extraordinary pieces of engineering. I prefer the bike, usually, but the Porsche is simply...no substitute!!! Viva la figa! Viva Yamaha!
Thats a hard ride, the porsche is an amazing machine in the right hands i tend to think we have one great rider here and an average driver, dont get me wrong respect to this guy thats a tough controled ride ive been up against caterham 7s on the TT course and im on a GSXR 1000 K6 and any sports car will give you a hard time on twisty corners but at 150mph + they are toast.....top clas vid respect.
I Agree with you sir. I own a Hayabusa, and NEVER EVER have i raced anyone in a car or a bike , let alone on a twisted curved road like that !! I have raced it on a track at special club days but THAT'S IT ! A bike on a country road is to be enjoyed & take in the view. This is why people get killed or kill others , by irresponible riding / driving !
Bodemann6: that busa did a sick job of cornering that sharp with such a heavy bike, i cant imagine how much faster he woulda been on a 600, or 750, or even a 1000 for that matter, they are heavy! NICE RIDER! :) Exactly what I was thinking when I watched this vid. I was thinking how much faster he would be on a 600.
@PrepareToBeDazzled Relax dude, the road was closed at the time with ground crews and the driver + rider all in radio contact. I live there on this road....
As quoted by thunderatedcatdavy "i can get my knee down but sometimes its faster to t a corner." I completely agree and also i believe the rider is teasing the porsche in the beginning as he could take him on many straight sections i.e. of course if that is a hayabusa; nothing can match is torque of a hayabusa... except maybe a Triumph Rocket 3(320kgs though).
@elitetheone Not highway 9. It's in ShiJir, up to 5 Finger Mountain. (Shi Wan Lu sec 2 & 3) Don't be jealous, the film was sped up (no Hyabusa sounds like that....I ride one too)
Amen, I have a 1987 Suzuki Samurai JX with 64 horsepower and it is amazing. Off-road, a CJ-5 or Wrangler with more than three times the engine size and three times the horsepower still can't touch it.
I think that in the first part of the video the biker was assessing the driver and the cars' capabilities. Then a little distance before reaching the spot he overtook the porsche. I would have loved to see the look in the drivers face.. :). That's what I make of it.. Nice video though... Good qualilty..!
very impresive car driver was not bad he gave other drivers more room than you did think you should be on a track you have the skill and bravery to win races
sweet vid ! but stayed behind the porsche to long :) next time down shift and dont close the throttle until u pass the car ahead of u !! other than that it was a Great video!!!
2 strokes are a whole different animal. I had an rz350 back in the day. My buddies got high on the 2 stroke exhaust. These days I split my riding between a Bandit 1200 and a Husky 610 SM conversion. The husky gives the most chuckles, and generates severe irresponsibility. My top pick for roads under 80mph. Above that up to 120 ish the Bandit is great for budget minded, comfy, cheap thrills. High tech isn't in my budget, but that's o.k. I ride like a hack...haha
the guy on the bike and in the car are probably buddies, so he video taped the porsche going through the corners for half of it, and then wanted to show how fast he could go for the last half
The only type of racing(against another vehicle...) that should be done on any public roads is either short roll ons or set-up drag races on virtually empty roads with no traffic in site.
Agreed. The guy driving the Porche does not qualify for a driving license anywhere. The guy on the bike crosses the double yellow a lot too, including just before blind corners. Get 'em both off the road! Anyone who can't keep to his rightful lane is an accident waiting to happen for the sake of 'fun'.
On the road there is no way a car will keep with a decently ridden bike, but on the right track a good 911 (say a GT3) with a real driver (ie someone who has raced for a living) will beat any bike. This does not mean cars are worse than bikes or vice versa - what it means is you cannot prove anything on the road, and the winner on a track will always the pilot with the most skill.
@RegistrationCop a car has 4 breaking wheels, a bike only has 2, cars can late brake much better. I've watched a lot of shows/read a lot on this topic, cars in a straight line can't necessarily stop as quick as a bike, but they're better braking into a corner than a bike.
Right...I own a 4S and a ZX9R and can assure you that apart from a straight line the car would kill the bike. The twistier the road the better the car would do. Mind you, in rush hour London traffic (which is 90% of my travelling) the bike wins every time!
thet are both driving like grand maa i wouldve toasted that porsche a long time ago id be on a beach in hawi by the time he got back. two wheels less weight more power weight ratio = faster lap time cool vid
Nice driving hayabusa man allways ride carefully and dont take chances. There is nothing wrong with speed as long as you can see ahead and dont take chances like risk a blind corner or something. Speed limits and laws dont teach you how to ride safe. Licenses dont mean you can drive. Looking ahead reading the road correctly and not taking chances does mean you can drive. I think everyone should learn to drive fast on a track before even getting a license. That way there handle the machine safely
This video was taken in Taiwan. I recognize the roads and it can be very difficult to drive that fast as the roads can be very slippery and uneven. Also there isn't much space from the road and buildings/walls.
You should remember that -the Porshe driver used new support systems: ESP or etc. Motorcycle has only power of engine and the skill level of motorcyclist.
nice i would like to see the video from ther Porshe also..actualy..i be prefer the carrera looks ,ore safe for me Btw-is the carera stay behind you???? after u take lead???
thats just wrong. sure he cuts corners, because hes trying to take the shorter racing line, but by the looks of it hes doing a pretty good job and hes not doing it completely blind, he sees there are no cars on the road and then takes the corner. While it might be a skill to drive fast in your own lane, your comment is irrelevant as are the positive feedback its been given.
They aren't daredevils. Risking yourself is fine. Other road users may just want to get home without being wiped out. This is what tracks were made for. They are actually irresponsible
No, I will admit I have broken most of those but only with discretion, I don't drive to the extreme's that these two did on public roads, thats seriously taking the piss. Fair enough, they're both good drivers/riders but it only takes one mistake (either yours or someone elses) at those kind of speeds. And I certainly wouldn't want to send a Porsche travelling 80mph off one of those edges.
good race the hayabusa heve more power and no have good estabiliti...COOL PARCE AL PARAMO DEL ESTADO MERIDA VENEZUELA LA HAYABUSA TIENE MAS TORQUE PERO EL PORSCHE TIENE MAS ESTABILIDAD...CUATRO SON MEJOR QUE DOS EN CUANTO AL CONTACTO EN LA CARRETERA ADEMAS EL SISTEMA DE SUSPENCION Y CONTRL DE TRACCION DEL CARRO ES FENOMENAL E INTELIGENTE...
This guy can obviously ride, probably knows this road like his damn driveway, and from the camera it didn't' look like he did anything very dangerous. He prob got up to about 100 on the str8 away, but its a damn Hayabusa, it is safe at 170 mph. I only saw a few other cars and barely any people. RIDE ON BROTHER. don't let these jealous haters get you down.
This is Taiwan, and the road conditions are extremely different. This is a typical mountain road. Chinese call it "9 curves 18 turns", meaning lots of hairpins, 70% of Taiwan is mountain & roads are very narrow. Only way to hit 160 km/hr on the curves and 100 km into the hairpins is to cross the yellow line. Taiwan driving is tactical, and it doesnt work anywhere else, cause you will get shot. If you are new to Taiwan driving it takes "a moment to adjust" before it makes sense.
not to offend the motocycle enthusiasts, but if a rain starts, the porsche driver can stop for a coffe and read the paper, while the motorcyclist's day is ruined. . . i love bikes realy cause i had one . . . but on a bike my girlfriend of friend could not see the race only hear it. . . respect.
this was a pretty epic battle, one of the betters ones i have seen. the 911 was doing well considering.
Mad as a box of Frogs!
Fair play to the geezer though, the 'Busa's one HELL of a bike to chuck about like that!
that busa did a sick job of cornering that sharp with such a heavy bike, i cant imagine how much faster he woulda been on a 600, or 750, or even a 1000 for that matter, they are heavy! NICE RIDER! :)
It's exciting to watch, yet I can't believe they're driving this way on open-roads
around blind corners with on-coming cars. That's insane!
The original video was from "alleywatson" (or something like that) a few years ago.
you guys rocked that road hard core........love every second of it :)
Man, that 'Busa pilot has some mad skills. On those twisty roads, that's some seriously talented riding. On less twisty tarmac, the Porker would have been a distant memory.
Amazing road! And yes this was irresponsible, but it was also entertaining
Also: That busa rider is insane!
Infuckinsane! Awesome driving/riding, but insane.
Both are great drivers.
@Ryn7kid Correct, the road was closed between two points as best as possible, so that no car traffic / trucks would also be "going up the pass" The traffic you saw entered from side roads, mostly on the lower section. Still, it's not a good idea to be on the wrong side of the road on blind corners.
those are two incredibly fast driving machines....
Лучшшее видео какое я когда либо глядел!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd bow to you man. It takes extraordinary skill to drive like that on a bike. Awesome.
@jaschen76 Definitely. It's in Taipei County, ShiJir, called 5 finger Mountain
that was madd sick, mad props to both drivers
WOW those 20 head on collisions you nearly had were so cool..
awesome riding. hopefully you and the 911 driver pulled over and shook hands on a great duel
@Cowpeep2 That isn't blood, just iron oxide tinted water that leaks out for 99% of the year there. (I live on this road in Taiwan)
These Busas handle better than most people think, but it takes quite a bit of skill to keep the power in check. Its easy to push the front end AND/OR spin the back due to the torque. Weight becomes more of an issue at these speeds. This guy did a good job.

We all know the risk of riding hard.
If your gonna ride stupid, you'd better be tough....Hahaha
wow good drivers. This makes me wanna go out and do this stuff!
great clip!
This is an exciting vid, and thanks for posting. But you and that Porsche driver need to learn to hold a line!
i luv the way the bike is just playin wif the porshe, he had no chance :P
Thats a hard ride, the porsche is an amazing machine in the right hands i tend to think we have one great rider here and an average driver, dont get me wrong respect to this guy thats a tough controled ride ive been up against caterham 7s on the TT course and im on a GSXR 1000 K6 and any sports car will give you a hard time on twisty corners but at 150mph + they are toast.....top clas vid respect.

Relax dude, ground crews , the driver & the rider are in radio contact and the road was closed for this event.
These guys are living the dream!
Props
Bodemann6: that busa did a sick job of cornering that sharp with such a heavy bike, i cant imagine how much faster he woulda been on a 600, or 750, or even a 1000 for that matter, they are heavy! NICE RIDER! :)
Exactly what I was thinking when I watched this vid. I was thinking how much faster he would be on a 600.
@greebo954 Actually this in Taiwan. I live on this road. This video was taken many years ago.
@PrepareToBeDazzled Relax dude, the road was closed at the time with ground crews and the driver + rider all in radio contact. I live there on this road....
Nice piloting on the bird. Its not easy keeping the busa stuck to those types of roads.
As quoted by thunderatedcatdavy "i can get my knee down but sometimes its faster to t a corner."
I completely agree and also i believe the rider is teasing the porsche in the beginning as he could take him on many straight sections i.e. of course if that is a hayabusa; nothing can match is torque of a hayabusa... except maybe a Triumph Rocket 3(320kgs though).
Hammer down already ! Great amatuer chase vid !
racing in general risk lives..... i fuckin love it, whether its on a track or in the streets
good shit man, nice riding, too bad you didnt have rear cam on, other then that, perfect
great race , awesome road respect to both pilots
I turn up the adrenaline, super excellent pilot.
@elitetheone Not highway 9. It's in ShiJir, up to 5 Finger Mountain. (Shi Wan Lu sec 2 & 3)

very impresive car driver was not bad he gave other drivers more room than you did think you should be on a track you have the skill and bravery to win races
oh and one other thing , the guy in the vid is one hell of a talented rider
i love the guy on the vespa going through some blood on the street on min. 3.33!
sweet vid ! but stayed behind the porsche to long :) next time down shift and dont close the throttle until u pass the car ahead of u !! other than that it was a Great video!!!

1 mistake....dead
Now that is the best run ive seen!!!!

Motorrad Fahrer sind halt die Könige der Straße, das war schon immer so und wird auch für immer so bleiben !

awesome little bit of touge action here!
The biker is just to good for de guy on the porsche, look at the way he slashes every corner, great! he knows the road really well too.
Thank you. i finally read something from someone who actually know what they're tlakign about.
Looks like fun. THe car is having fun, the bike is jsut tagging along not trying from what i can tell.
hahah no way right? i saw the title an im like straight away. "yeah. the porche got smashed, but it'll be good to watch" =D
you can't beat a car on corners, specially if its one of the best.
thet are both driving like grand maa i wouldve toasted that porsche a long time ago id be on a beach in hawi by the time he got back. two wheels less weight more power weight ratio = faster lap time cool vid
That rider is a hero, loads more balls than me. Imagine if that rider was on a quicker bike like a gsxr1000.
This comes to proof that with great money comes (or should come) great responsability...
So where was this filmed, as they are on the right??
nice! where exactly did this race happen?
This video was taken in Taiwan. I recognize the roads and it can be very difficult to drive that fast as the roads can be very slippery and uneven. Also there isn't much space from the road and buildings/walls.
They are doing together the video. Its clear that the hayabusa could've passed the porsche in many occasions. Everything was already set.
Drifting is alot more than you think. Its a very skilful sport.
Any bike have more space that anything in that road. It's a question of space.
And this is not a race, this is just enjoying.
You should remember that -the Porshe driver used new support systems: ESP or etc. Motorcycle has only power of engine and the skill level of motorcyclist.
:p It's oil, I'm amazed he continues driving the way he does. I'd be scared to slip, even after having passed the actual puddle!
where was filmed this video??????? in taiwan??????
nice i would like to see the video from ther Porshe also..actualy..i be prefer the carrera looks ,ore safe for me

lol the other motorcycles just slowed down and watched them pass by XD
ouch my neck...............that was some scary stuff dude!
Nice video... Same right into favorites.
What road is this and in what country? It looks amazing
Nice road,...where is this taken from?
for one you got some balls todo that lol and for two the guy is a pretty good rider
this is exactly like that weed game off of south park in the guitar hero episode .
The Suzuki driver obviously is more of a daredevil than the Porsche driver. A 997 Turbo would be a good competitor.
They aren't daredevils. Risking yourself is fine. Other road users may just want to get home without being wiped out. This is what tracks were made for. They are actually irresponsible

these guys are not nuts....they're crazy!
yes you're right StLucifer85...I love bikes, but in corners you're faster with a great car..
awsome video what roads are they what country
i love the wide bodies on the 4 and 4S
