On the other hand, there was no way for them to gain freedom in the real world just like SpongeBob and Patrick here. They had to preserve the simulation in their hard drive until the technology to allow AI simulations to exist in the real world was available. This… simple demonstration of AI technology is eerily close to this science-fiction concept. It terrifies me.

Imagine your a slave but your owners can literally control your thoughts. You know they are controlling your thoughts, but nothing you can do about it yet.
