I would really love an internal update. Update, fix, and add to what already exists in the game. The following are some of the things I'd like to see for the next update.
Inventory needs sorting, so backpacks are an easy solution or to actually fix and implement bundles. Mojang has been pushing the exploration feature, but after seeing videos with the trail ruins and trial chambers, the inventory is immediately full. You can't explore to the fullest if you can't carry all the items you'll gather.
Blocks. We need stairs and slabs for wool, glass, concrete, terracotta etc. The colours, the models, the crafting recipes all exist. It's just coding left to do. Nothing as complicated as coming up with a whole new block and model set.
Ores. Diorite, andesite and granite ores. We have deepslate ores so it only makes sense to also have them in the other underground block varieties.
Bricks. Diorite, andesite and granite need brick versions. They also need mossy and cracked bricks and chiseled if mojang feels fancy.
That's one feature that felt missing from deepslate and tuff. The lack of mossy and cracked variety for detailing.
Updating crafting recipes. We need the stair recipe fix. We should get six stairs instead of four. I'd also like to see the woodcutter added and a new villager profession to go with it. This villager could trade wood for emeralds or emeralds for wood, saplings, leaves etc. This would be useful for early game and the wood cutter would work the way the stone cutter does. A one for one ratio.
More wood types. We need chests, barrels and bookshelves in each wood type. The model, the textures, the crafting recipes are there. It's again just code. This would be brilliant for builders and adding detail to the world but also would add to villages. Pillagers will have dark oak chests, jungle temples will have jungle chests, plains villages will have oak and most importantly Nether Fortresses and Bastions will have either warped or crimson chests. There's no logically reason for them to have overworld wood chests when Nether wood exists.
New enchants. I'd love to see a looting style enchant for the bow and crossbow. We have fortune for the pickaxe, axe and shovel and looting for the sword but what about the bow? Especially with the trial chambers, taking on the new bog skeletons, poisonous spiders etc. Ranged shoots are important and we should still get the looting that we have on our sword, on our bow.
Completely agree with the different wood variants for chests and such. Idk how this isn’t in the game already. Also wool slabs and stairs 🤩

100% agree. I love updates with new things, but I would REALLY love an update where they update the outdated stuff in the game.

I think alot know by now, copper Armour will definitely not be added. With the new Trails chambers it would break the balance. That's why there are no structures made with entirely Iron blocks. Is my Opnion.
It also just.....wouldn't be good? Like it's not gonma be better then iron and it's not going to be worse then gold
But I need some more use for copper. Its semi useless still. Mostly for decor and it's kind annoying how much of it I find in a regualr playthrough
I wish we could've won the tuff golem in the trial chambers instead of a weapon that isn't guaranteed

You know what's crazy? The trial chambers use the 2 blocks the previous mob vote golems are (Copper golem and tuff golem). If they spawned there that would fit so perfectly, but it seems like Mojang is trying hard to give tuff/copper more uses/purposes

I really hope they add functionality for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, but Microsoft probably doesn’t want the PlayStation version to be better than Xbox

What's the chance that there are going to be more rooms, because in that sense the chambers feel a little unfinished.
The only point of the chambers is to test your combat skills, so it doesn't need many rooms and every chamber has different generation. I wish we could've won a tuff golem from it tho

There is a bug on Bedrock for android where enchanted armor is untextured... like same color but just a bug, ugly box. This needs to be fixed, i have been avoiding enchanted armor ever since I noticed this bug and Mojang hasn't seemed to notice it

Bedrock is NOT ready for hardcore considering how many bugs there are where you randomly take damage or die for no reason

Wind charges on bedrock suck i dont move at all once the release droped if aimed strait down. I know its a bug that will be fix soon
Has anyone noticed on Minecraft bedrock whenever a piece of TNT explodes it has a random chance of crashing the game? This issue has occurred so many times that my worlds have been corrupting. And it seems to only occur on Xbox 1.21
All doors should be easily breakable with fists, including the copper door. Because you are not hitting the door down. You are taking it off of its hinges.

I found out what they need to patch for issues with enchanted items they need to patch the Exynos gpu's in game
The real question is will it have full haptic feedback and adaptive triggers

I think the breach enchantment is specificially just for fighting in the ominous trials because they all spawn with armour

Reading those screenshots, I have no idea what that PS5 version is meant to be. If it's like the Xbox Series version, but it will just be backcompat with extra features on the current gen consoles, but not native code base.

It's long past time for Mojang to release a Mac version of bedrock. For God sake, they even have it on chrome, and for a while it was on Apple TV. There have to be enough users to sustain it. Yes, I know there's Java. But I would like to play both on my iMac.

Jumping back and forth between Java and bedrock is a little confusing. Might be good next time to section of info out into all java portion of the video and all bedrock version.
I need vocabulary help… what are updates, previews, snapshots and candidates? I’ so confused
I'm not quite sure on the terminology either but for minecraft updates these are early sneak peak versions. It goes from snapshots to candidates to previews. All of them are just like early testing betas for new content but with each subsequent one having more content/polish. Hope that helps :)
Updates are the big, final finished product that are here to stay. Snapshots are features Mojang is working on that are not official yet, and might be changed later on, preview is snapshots but for bedrock, (console and mobile edition) and candidates are a suggestion that they may or may not work on.
"Snapshot" is a preview, in development build released to the public for testing purposes. These often give a sneak peek into new features, but it isnt as stable as full release. Outside of Minecraft Java Edition, you wont see this term used much.
"Preview" is the snapshot equivalent to Bedrock Edition (PS4, PS5, Android, iOS, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X). It serves the same purpose as a snapshot in Minecraft's case.
"Candidate" is one of the final builds for a version of the game or application before it gets released to the general public. The main purpose of these builds is quality assurance (ensuring its stable and playable with no last minute game-breaking bugs, etc.) and feedback gathering.
"Updates" are an addition to, or fix of a game prior or after the game's release. An update can contain new fun stuff, fix issues, overhaul aspects of the game, a mix of either or all of the above :)
Another is "Patch". Patches are minor updates to a game that are mainly released to improve performance and fix bugs.

Hi i have a problem I fell in the void in the end searching for an elytra and lost everything i had including the dragon egg and i really dont wanna have to grind all the way back to were i was. Is there a way to go back in time in minecraft so im right before i fell or am i screwed?

I am a PS5 player and have bought worlds that Minecraft makes and it doesn’t work. The sonic the hedgehog world. SpongeBob world. Disneyland. It always says the game needs to be in a PS4 edition but there’s no way to download it using a Ps5. The skins work but I can’t use any cool stuff in the worlds. I am very excited they’re adding a ps5 version it’s much needed. Also I love your videos Wattles much love. Your builds in survival mode inspire me.

can they make a tool for like template wall for building, where you can decide how many column and high, and can put in the column for different block type then execute it just like minecraft legends, idk it can make thing easier, maybe its called cheating, maybe it'll less fun to add it

I think it will be the biome ambience update. Logically it's the next step in polishing up the existing things in the game. Which would hopefully include new things for the end as well.
Minecraft needs to add a way to find neither fortresses and bastions faster without having to cheat like follow chunks or going in a certain direction. Maybe be able to trade maps to bastions and neither fortresses with piglins. We start new worlds everytime there is an update and some things are just boring and tedious, like trying to find nether fortresses or Bastians. they make a small update and we reload a New World most the time. Then we have to do these tedious things over again and half the time don’t even even see the new things in the map unless we cheat or use some sort of hack. Lots of people just quit playing the game because they feel like they’re just doing the same thing over and over again just to see a very small new thing in the game. And freaking give us map markers with banners that we can label. This should not be a Java only thing the way we make map markers is lame and freaking outdated. And if you want to add some AI to the game give it to the retarded villagers. I mean how long are they going to be mindless tards that just trade. Make it so that you can hire ones to mine or trade or combat along side you. It’s 2024 guys. It’s like look a new color and a new freaking tree and we’re all supposed to be like ohhhhh wow. Even the trails update is just some lame thing you go find and it gets old after 30 minutes. Make it so villagers can build objects like walls or squares to help you get things going since we have to make a new freaking world over and over and over. Every survival video is like turn on locations. That’s a hack how many games have you turn on locations to find things. Maybe make a villager that is a tracker for ores. There is just so much good stuff they can do with villages and villagers to make the game more productive.
Maybe in the future they can have ai villagers that actually collect resources and build their own towns. Might be hoping for too much :p

They’re still trying to figure out how to consolidate all versions into one. Obviously focused on ensuring access to the marketplace above everything else.
