Using the speed of Werner-Son-Johnson to break away and catch the opponents off guard, then having the rest of the mids and defense follow through to overwhelm their target. The opposing side are often left in a daze. The downside is, it's not for the feint of heart. A mistake usually leaves us wide open. VDV with his speed and Vicario with his agility are crucial under Angeball.

We conceded because of a double nutmeg. The luck of this team
They’re lunging with the wrong leg. If they lunge with the other leg and keep it straight the ball doesn’t go through. They also turn their backs. Poor technique. When I was playing a million years ago coaches would slaughter us for turning our back or sliding and lunging at the ball with the wrong leg. We never got nutmegged like that. Try it at training and see.

@@charles_preston You’re right, we do seem to have bad luck too. The ball often doesn’t fall our way and sometimes we don’t get clear decisions go our way. Maybe I’m just thinking “old school” due to my age but sometimes it feels like we’ve lost the fundamentals in our game. Our players don’t, on occasions, track back hard enough as you said; sometimes they make basic skill errors. Maybe I expect too much but I hope we keep improving and keep challenging. Cheers

what i really liked about the game was that we made our first two subs exactly at half time, instead of waiting until the hour mark, and that meant that we had those subs ready to go already in the second half and that’s what led to the goals, we should definitely do that more often because look what we can do when that happens (ik it’s only forrest but still) COYS
