Sharing a tested and effective water feeder for parakeets made from recycled plastic bottles and DIY.
Same procedure for making bird seeds automatic feeder, but the half rounded hole on the opposite portion of the smaller bottle should be cut entirely as a rounded hole.
With the automatic feeders in your cage, no more worries about the needed bird seeds and water for your parakeets for the whole day.
The cage will also be well organized and lesser mess or waste of bird seeds and provides cleaner drinking water.

sir I drilled a hole in the bottle just above the bottom. And in that I failed. I think there's a lot of big physics at work here

Of course, any hole on the bottle will allow the water to spill, that the bottle cap should be tightened properly when refilled

birds do not like being in a round cage , just shows you know nothing about birds and there behaviours etc they like to hide in corners

Not impressed. Might work as a seed feeder but not great as a drinker. You will not be able to refill with water without removing it from the cage as it relies on the cap being on to prevent the water flooding straight through (atmospheric pressure). If you remove it to fill it you will only be able to half fill it (if you're lucky).

No problem sir. The water feeder could maintain the supply of water for a day or two defending on the condition/status of the water. And probably we need to clean before refilling and should be removed from the cage. Refilling such kind of feeder defends on the water pressure and the cap should immediately be closed tightly (the way i filled it)
