    That would be some heavy fines for the pub if it was in Sweden. As a business with a kitchen you are mandated to have special containers for all fat and oils and to make sure they are emptied by a sanitation company. All that fat solidifies and get stuck in the cold sewers and creates huge blockages. Jem is a champ for taking care of this with such profesionalism.

    I think some dish soap or laundry soap would have come in handy. I've worked restaurants, that old rancid grease stinks as bad as sewage and is much harder to get rid of. You did a wonderful job Jem.

    Seems like an oddly constructed grease trap - from what I've seen on "Blocked Drain Korea" or " Kempinger Drain cleaning and water jetting" the outlet is usually lower than the inlet, and there would be baffles in the way. With no baffles and a higher outlet, there's nothing to trap the grease, it'll just flow out. That tray felt more like a sediment trap, but who knows.
    I was also very puzzled by the puddle in the corner of the lot, but one of the last shots makes me think that's a vent stack and not a drainpipe, so the puddle was never meant to be able to drain into there.
    Seems like dodgy construction all around, but top tier work by Jetter 1.

    Still some of the best drain cleaning videos around, but please stop with the skip-skip-repeating thing you're doing. (e.g. when Jem picks up the spade) It disrupts the flow of the video and makes it feel like a 80s music video instead of a drain cleaning video.

    Great video and clean up Jem as usual mate, also because I like rewatching all the drain unblockers videos from past videos, ive noticed some have been removed or one has been shortened.. the one where Andy cleans a couple of drains in a garage area of grit, leaves and stones I cant find now ant the video where yourself and Joe unblocked a drain in a flooded pub cellar has been shortened and you don't see the job being finished, mate? I was just wondering why that's all mate.. anyways see you guys on the next one 👍🏻

    Jem, people think I am nuts for saying I will take a toilet drain line over a kitchen drain line any day. I believe most people think the toilet line has to be nasty, but in reality, kitchen drains are the most disgusting things I clear. Then you get to manually clean all the equipment with a degreaser after, unlike other drains where a simple rinse off cleans things.

    I have enjoyed your videos. I've wondered, what is the storage capacity of the water tank on the vans? What are the flow rate and pressure of the jetter?

    • @rupe53
      @rupe53 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jetter would be 4-5000 psi and 4-5 gallons per minute. On board storage will be at least 10 gallons but in this case it's probably a bit more. Anything over 40 gallons will be too heavy for a modest size van and a half empty tank means several hundred pounds sloshing around as you drive.

    Yet another reason why you NEVER install an air conditioner/refrigeration outdoor unit at ground level when a wall option is available.
    And I certainly would not call that a grease trap! Bit of a mystery what it is for. That just looks like a place for rubbish to collect and REALLY get rotten! Particularly if not maintained like that was.

    Here's how to fill a plastic sack without having to hold onto it. Get a flexible plastic builder's trub, and put the bag into it. Then fold the top of the bag back over the rim of the trub. This keeps it rigid and holds the mouth of the bag open.
