I think the buzzing is a grounding issue. I have a Telecaster Contemporary with a rail humbucker pickup that had the same issue.I took it a part and redid the grounding. Thanks for the cool Fusion Demo Dan.
Thanks very much as always J-Man for watching and for your kind comments. I search high and low for bargains. I have to pay for every guitar we review, so I'm looking for a deal at all times 😎👍!
You often really do seem to find good deals, Leo! Incidentally, I think Firefly has really improved in specs and quality lately. Some Amazon guitars are good, others are not so consistent. So far, based on the reviews I’ve seen, it sounds like GearIt is less consistent than Westcreek, Musi, EART, or even Firefly.
@@zuperdee I haven't tried Westcreek, I've seen them, but they are just out of my price range, and I have not seen any deals. Thanks as always for watching and for your kind comments 😎 👍!
Enjoy all you guys videos. Leo, it’s amazing the deals you find, and how good Dan makes the budget brands sound. Yens prob help a lot of newbies to get started, cheap. You know what they say about a big raggedy F hole, and noisy hummer, may be a bone nut… 😂
Thx again for the unplugged E ❣️but Dan (i know what you wanted to say) there is no „Lipstick“ pickup in a Tele except of one of mine that was „upgraded“ with Lipstick pickups by me 😃. Interesting configuration in those Singlecoil and Humbucker guitars. Nice thing that in the middle Position the Humbucker is coilsplitted but I guess they didn’t put both needed pots and resistors in - the P90 didn’t have the clear open sound of a 250kOhm equipped wirering. I guess both PUs runs with 500k. Bad wiring makes a Humbucker hum 😁. Thanks for your entertainment and your reviews of guitars nobody had heard of, well I haven’t 😎 Take care and show us more stuff like that 🖖
He is correct, actually-the Telecaster neck pickup, while it may bear some visual resemblance to a lipstick pickup, it is not at all the same in terms of construction. The Telecaster neck pickup has actual pole pieces pressed into either a plastic or a vulcanized fiberboard bobbin, hidden under a metal cover, as opposed to a Danelectro-style lipstick pickup, which has insulated coil wire wrapped around a bar magnet inside a tube. (Contrary to popular legend, they were NOT just recycled lipstick tubes!)
This guitar is now $129.88 on the jungle store. Make sure Dan doesn't keep going around sticking his fingers in F holes like that. They have become a lot more dangerous over the years...lol. As always, Dan has made another incredibly affordable guitar sound rich! Thanks for sharing. God Bless!
Thanks very much Captain for watching, Dan never has been discerning about what holes he places his fingers in. It's an affliction that I can't seem to break him of 😎👍!
Well, at least the brand isn't called Gear This! If that is ash, it is bleeping heavy! Great playing to demo both the humbucker and P90, but to me the wiring seems crossed up. I've never heard a humbucker hum before.
brill review as always guys...that guitar is not as we say in the UK 'my cup of tea' but Dan nailed it as usual, in true honesty, thanks for these reviews of budget guitars..i have bought some of your recommendations due to your down to earth reviews/comments and to be honest love them ❤. without your recommendation 2 weeks ago i bought 2 guitars, dont think you have reviewed them yet , a Glarry burning fire 😢, very disappointed as it has some dead frets so i need to sort it but at £79 , it is a beautiful guitar to behold, no defects in paint etc and well worth sorting out , it has been put in a gig bag to fix at a later date..the other one was a Harley Benton JA60-CC in shell pink , fantastic Quality , brill action out of the box, after a tune up only 2 strings needed a mild intonation set up 👍 Thanks again guys for the working man guitar reviews that we can afford at our realistic price range..much appreciated...love you guys ❤🤘 (but not in a homo way 🤣) EDIT: i meant no offense to our homosexual guitarists out there for saying i love them in a non homo way...if you love Dan, Leo or Patrick..drop them an email and be honest with them about your love 🤔
Thanks very much David for taking the time to watch and comment. Not exactly Dan's cup of tea either, and we're both disappointed that our relationship has to remain platonic 😉👍!
Don't know what's wrong with me....but I think that thing looks fantastic. I saw that odd but pretty shoreline color they had as well...do you honestly think the f-hole made a projection difference in the sound (plugged or unplugged)?
Hello again Gentlemen, As a Thinline Tele, it sounds a bit richer, at least to me it does. While I don't have any personal experience with a Thinline, I noticed there wasn't any quack. At least not much of one. Is a thing with the Thinline in particular or maybe the pick up set up? Either way, It's a good looking and sounding guitar, especially for the price. Great jam (again) and great vid guys! See you in a week or so...
Thanks very much Marky for watching and for your kind comments and support. I wouldn't expect this example to sound anything like any sort of Tele or Thinline. It's just too different 😎👍!
I got you. It just seems to me that you've had other Tele-type copies on the show and Dan-o can still get a quack or two out of them. But then again, Dan could probably make a violin quack!! Thanks Leo!!!@@leodanryan966
Thanks very much for watching, and for your kind question. I think I'd need a bit more information about the buzzing. It's possible that you have a couple of high frets, of it could just need a truss rod adjustment or a host of other things 🫥.
I ordered one in wood tone livery. It's supposed to be here Monday... also a set of locking tuners so I can swap those out. It was 85.00 after a price cut and a 5% coupon. Great looking guitar! I like a hefty guitar, the feather-weight mystery wood Chinese imports are nice but feel like a Styrofoam guitar for a while till you get used to them, then they are sweet. You have a wall of beautiful instruments there my friend! I will try a set of 8-38 strings on it and see how that goes .. I will darken that bare and rough looking F cutout (which I like) with something, a magic marker if need be :-)
Thanks very much for watching and for your kind comments. We can only judge them by the example we purchase. This is the 3rd Gearit guitar we've reviewed, and the first two did have some issues 😉👍!

Hey guys whats the best sub $300 strat type guitar on the market right now would you say?
Mine weighs 8.2 lbs. My middle position has an issue? Very tinny unless the treble is all the way off. Overall a nice guitar 3/4/24 $88.00 on Amazon.
