After seeing how your use of Cigar in Folklore, (I think that was Kasturi?) I actually bought 16oz of your Cigar Leaf for use in my own blends. I use it sparingly, but it definitely adds a different dimension and really fills out the flavor profile and body of the smoke. I’ll always keep some of this on hand! Thanks C&D team! 🔥🔥🔥
Cornell & Diehl cigar tobacco is great, I do smoke it sometimes in a very small bowl and it’s like smoking a premium cigar without paying $20 for one stick 👌
Thanks for the recommendations at the end. When shopping online it can be hard to know what "cigar leaf" is used in a blend and how it will taste. It's like if every pipe tobacco listed "pipe tobacco" as the ingredient. As your video suggests, even with just two cigar leaf choices there are so many different flavors that can be created using them as condiments in blends. My absolute anytime cigar leaf blend is Gray Ghost. I've often wanted to ask you what cigar leaf you used. Similar to Billy Budd Blonde, the cigar leaf with Virginia smoke similar to a Virginia Perique with the cigar leaf filling in for the Perique. For me, it's like a really nice VAPer, but with a better room-note. Next up for me, Guendalose!
Yes. They make them. Took me a minute to find because the cigar shop only dabbled in selling pipe tobacco and the shop keeper didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked about Latakia. I can’t remember the name of the cigar brand, but I will tell you this. The cigar wasn’t that great with Latakia. I love lat in pipe blends but it only diminished the cigar imo. Best of luck man.
