i am a couple years into my journey and have used points for hotels with Hyatt but i’m excited to finally dip my toes into airlines! specifically nice experiences like this so thank you as always
80k is ridiculous for a 5.5 hour West Coast to Hawaii business class flight… even at 30k I’m hesitant because it’s not that long of a flight. Just shows how crazy of a deal 65k (with 30% VS transfer bonus) 14 hours from East Coast to Tokyo on ANA First Class is…
Some people like Hawaii enough they are willing to drop the points for some lie flat seats to Hawaii (not me lol) but it could be a good splurge for a honeymoon trip and I wouldn’t judge anyone for making the redemption. There will always be better redemptions out there, but sometimes those redemptions aren’t what some people are looking for. To each their own redeem points the way you want to / find value in 😄
@@MaxMilesPoints true! I could see the value in redeeming for a honeymoon. I would personally never go to Hawaii for my honeymoon but like you said, to each their own haha!
I’m from NY and I’ve been to 29 countries, lots of them being the Caribbean but never been to Hawaii since it’s such a long flights from out here just to get to another island essentially I haven’t felt it’s been worth it when trying to maximize my time, so am I missing out or have I made the right choice not spending the money or time on that just yet, I need to know lol!
Great video Max! I’ve been eying a trip to Hawaii. This helps a lot. I may try to find the 90K offer for the AMEX gold and apply this year. I’m still scared of the platinum’s AF lol. Do you recommend GH Kauai or the Andaz in Maui for a first time visit? Thanks!
Thanks For watching! I’ve only stayed at the Andaz and thought it was great. Award availability for both properties can be tough to find so you might not have an option of one or the other. I’d stay at the Andaz again if that tells you anything
Considering that you’re coming from the west coast to Hawaii, is it “worth” it to book Bus on points when an economy ticket can be had for $250-300? I guess this is a similar consideration for NYC trips.
@@davidp9575I would personally suck it up and fly economy at that cheap of a cash rate, business is cool but it’s a shorter flight so if you’re able to just watch a couple movies and take a nap, you’ll be glad you saved the points and cash. Use the points on a nice hotel
Why nobody shows us how to earn the points but use the points, especially people with super low income with barely any organic spending besides their Food stamps

Love what you’re doing bro! I learn so much about the point game from your videos!
Love the tutorials man. So useful to see the process in front of you. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching!
Very informative videos and shorts as always👍🏼. I use points mainly for hotel stays but this is still useful.
Nice video max, big fan of the channel, can you please share some tips on how to maximize miles on hotel 👌🏼
Thank you!!!
Can you do some for South America bro? I love your work but no content creators do South America or Africa break the cycle bro
The 787 Dreamliner lie flat product is so much superior but the saver award redemption requirement is higher….
787 redemption is the same 40k at the saver rate. Much harder to find though. You’ll find a lot of 40k on the a330.

Cant we get better deal with Turkish airlines booking for United Polaris? Thanks for the video, great info as always.
You sure can but finding Polaris flight and finding award availability is near impossible
How do we lower the volume of the background music?
🫤 thanks for the feedback , I’ll make sure the background music is not so distracting next time
@@MaxMilesPoints yea man, your videos are great, less distractions the better.
Any way to book Hawaiian in the uk? There’s no cards that transfer, maybe a partner airline?

Whoa! This video is super helpful. I just used this tutorial to search Hawaiian flights to Japan and it works. Thanks so much for posting this!
@@cm449 glad you found it helpful! Love that you applied the strategy to your situation and made it work! Congrats! 🎉
Awesome sauce
Can you get this from Austin also since austin has direct Hawaiian flights to NHL..
Will these points levels stay the same once they merge with Alaska
No idea we’ll have to wait and see
if you have chase earned miles, anyway to transfer to hawaiian account?
Unfortunately no

Hi Max, is seats.aero also good for searching other routes? Ex: US-Asia? Thank you in advance:)
Yup!
