No one would ever imagine that where there is now a traffic-light controlled intersection, there once was a round-about/traffic-circle, that had a tractor tire in its center. That is at Drax Hall, before reaching Mammee Bay, coming from St. Ann's Bay. This Drax Hall area has seen rapid growth.
@@bbonchinatural Yes the area was always quite nice, a few years ago it was all pasture land to the south of the main road, and a coconut grove to the north. An old main road can still be seen from the corner exiting St. Ann's Bay, and passing over a narrow, single-lane bridge.
@Rockjamify I'm surprised hearing this and imagine how that place looks like now Brother Thanks for sharing 👍 You have made my day ❤️ Thank you very much for your info's and help share the videos because young foes are running away from this lovely Island
@tricia7016 Thank you 😊 Tricia, hope to see you and others supporting BBONCHI NATURAL Videos for real one day. I believe God will bless 🙌 all of you with your heart desires. This is my prayer 🙏 and my thoughts Blessings 🙌 🙌 🙌
i was thinking they should build new highschool in that area with nice 400m track. all of our schools look unattractive and out dated but one step at a time
There are High Schools in surrounding areas, the most prominent of which are in Brown's Town, with Schools like: St. Hilda's Girls School, York Castle High School, Westwood High School for girls, and Brown's Town High. Closer to St. Ann's Bay is Marcus Garvey High School. In Ocho Rios there are: Ocho Rios High School, and Fern Court High School. Around Tower Isle, St. Mary, there are: Iona High School; and a Prospect High School restricted to cadets who are supposed to be fully financed by a Trust Fund set up by a British philanthropist, the late Sir Harold Mitchell, the former owner of the Prospect Estate. There are probably more Schools in nearby communities that are not so well known.
There is a river by St. Ann's Bay, where methane gas bubbles up through the water, and it will combust if an open flame is brought near to the water. There must be a significant reservoir of gas, since this has been so since the 60's, and probably before.
